Baymont by Wyndham Rocky Mount

The staff at the property was absolutely amazing! I travel for professional fishing and the trips are stressful in themselves and a bad lodging experience can make it even worse! The location of the property in relation to restaurants, convenience stores, and a Walmart, is more than perfect! You dont even have to leave a 3 mile radius to access all! The staff was available and friendly no matter the time, made sure everything I needed was available, and ensured me that they would help with any issues that would arrise! Thankfully none did and the stay was amazing! The room was also extremely clean and huge in size!

I liked the privacy, location, and the respectfulnes of the staff.

I had to have a housekeeper come in to clean my room from the previous occupants. The mirror had a small child's handprints all over it and smudges, food was left in the refrigerator, carpet hadn't been cleaned, trash under the beds, personal items had been left behind. When I spoke to someone about the issues I was told I should have came to a manager on duty immediately the night before and that I could not receive any compensation for the beglect of the cleanliness of the room from the previous occupants and the neglect from the housekeeper who prepared the room.

the room itself was very nice - the halls and other communal facilities were run down and showed their age. location is good right near multiple food options and gas station and close to 220. the room was very spacious for a 5 day stay and bed was very comfortable.

property needs updating - ran out of hot water many mornings due to capacity and over all was very dated. bathrooms need more detailed cleaning, as there was toothpaste spots on the mirror from previous guests and the lotion provided looked previously used.

The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind. The rooms were clean though my daughter said that the non-smoking did smell like it has been smoked in. The fitness room was nice to have including the cold water fountain for filling my water bottle which I discovered our last day.

The breakfast was only thing lacking. Our choices were: milk, fruit loops, cheerios, orange juice, and coffee. I ended up going out to buy a healthier cereal to have with the provided milk and some yogurt. So, honestly, I was a little disappointed in what was offered. Even the staff person, told me that usually the hotel had more to offer but that it had been a while. I guess this was one area because of Covid-19 that they decided to cut back.

Quiet with comfortable beds. Left feeling rested. Staff was hard working and friendly.

Tub floor design is treacherous, even with the few added non skid strips. Most parking was around back, not visible from the lobby. As an older lady traveling alone, I have to think of these safety concerns.

breakfast is one of the reasons i choose to stay there, missed the biscuits and gravy though. And its a good location for me to visit my family.

being a pet friendly motel i wasn't expecting the extra 30.00 for him.

Everything was great about the hotel. I had to stay for 13 nights bc I was evicted and the rooms are very nice and comfortable!

Bc if Covid they aren’t doing breakfast and still charging and including that in price. First two nights I paid full price then I learned I could go on Priceline and get it fro cheaper which is still 74.00 a night. They could lower it to 60 and still be a great hotel to stay at and offer some granola bars or something.

Live the friendly staff and breakfast was great with a great helpful hostess.location was great.

Had to asked for towels. But not a problem.

Very convenient location and plenty of parking for truck & trailer.

we had a good stay on the way to visit relatives. It was a very good price and the facilities were clean. the staff were friendly.
