Crowne Plaza Hotel Virginia Beach-Norfolk, an IHG Hotel

The front desk staff and dining room staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Location was good since we drove to the VA Beach Training Center everyday and it was within 15 minutes drive. Also, close to restaurants and other shops. Room was clean, spacious, and just right for our needs.

Could tell that the property needed some renovation/updating. Missing ice machines on floors. The front desk staff was informative about the plans for the property and I'm sure it will be really nice when all of the work is done.

Barry was so helpful on both nightsthat he was there. When we had no hot water in my handicapped room he found us another one right next door that did have hot water and helped us move onto the room. Well above what he needed to do.

Coming back on Christmas morning and notbeing able to get in my room because a pipe burst in the main lobby. Not being able to have breakfast on the morning we were leaving because of the burst pipe which had been fixed.

I enjoyed the food. Whoever did the cooking was phenomenal!!! The check in process was smooth and the young woman who checked us in was Great!

The waitress was rude and complained about her working hours. She told a couple that she wished the didn't sit down because she wasn't going to get a tip for them choosing the to go option.

Room was roomy, bed was way too small for two to sleep in. If you like to sleep on "top of each other" is ok, I guess. Room was very clean. Pool not so much. Wish there were vending machines on site. Staff was outstanding. The twin brothers that work at reception are fantastic! But overall all staff was very friendly, polite and helpful.

Pool could be cleaner. Bed could be a tad bit larger.

On Oct 2,2021, my sister and I checked into the Crowne Plaza Hotel Virginia Beach-Norfolk, an IHG Hotel, and the afternoon staff was very helpful and efficient with check-in. They were friendly, helpful with all questions, and made sure all of our needs were met. The breakfast the next day was good.

We were given room 518 and the only thing I can say about this room is that the cleanliness of the bathroom could use a little more attention to detail. The bathtub still had some dirt in and around the outside,

Great location, free and dequate well lit parking lot. The smell and cleanliness of the hotel upon entering was welcoming. I had good view of the high rise buildings. Customer service was really awesome though services are downsized due to covid. Room and bathroom very clean. Sheets nice and clean and bed very comfortable. Loved it.

If you twisted my arm for an answer then I'd say there's a morgue behind the hotel safe distance but with the bright lighting it was not a problem.

The staff was amazing from beginning to end. We even met a few of the maintenance men and housekeeping staff. They were all awesome. Our room was clean, our stay was pleasant. The young man who checked us in was very helpful and offered us suggestions on where to eat and then called us when our room was ready. 2 hours before check-in.

well, honestly, my room could’ve been a little bit cleaner wrong. The bathroom was horrible. The showerhead was falling out of the wall. It just needs a lot of work.

grout in bath stall needs cleaning. black areas with mold. ceiling over shower head fell into tub. Makeup mirror needs replaced

The staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. The gym/pool was accessible and easy to get to.

The bathroom was DISGUSTING and not clean to standard had an AWFUL smell the entire time. I requested for housekeeping to clean it at the front desk and it was NEVER addressed.
