Homewood Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach

Newer, up to date property. Nice size comfortable rooms. Good location close to family.

The Indoor pool was close. They said the pump was out. I had sent a message to the property asking about the status of the pool before booking but no one replied. The Elevators and hallways were filthy. Even after room service, cleaned the rooms for the day, the elevators and hallways remained filthy.

I liked the fact this hotel smells very clean when you walk in the door. It smells fresh lemony and clean laundry smell, which I love. VERY clean spacious rooms.

The location I thought was a little closer to the beach but that’s okay. Breakfast is good, just wish more fruit options available. Also, the hidden tax fees that creeped up on our bill put over $170 for a four night stay.

The breakfast was surprisingly delicious! Great coffee, fresh orange juice, deliciously seasoned eggs and a nice assortment of breads. It was the best part of our early day routine. The chef was wonderfully polite and very attentive. The cleanliness of the breakfast area was much appreciated.

At times the front desk staff were very unprofessional. They were joking loudly among themselves. I called the desk because we only had a half roll of toilet paper and the person answering the phone huffed and really did not respond. After a few hours my husband went down and asked for a roll! I expected more from a Hilton property.

Wanted to go to the pool but didnt look clean and bubbly film on it that discouraged me from getting in. Side entry door of hotel didn't work well kept glitching and by the end of my stay was not working. Would have like a tub and shower not just shower. A lot of dust on ceiling near vent.

The hotel was clean, the staff nice and the location and price a steal for a perfect trip to VA beach .

Typical hotel room. Clean, was comfy and decent size. Loved the bar in the hotel for a late nightcap. Bartender very nice girl who we chatted with as well as a super nice gentleman (employee) who was hanging out at the bar to make sure the bartender was safe. super cool dude. We couldn't get our TV to work so a maintenance worker was up within maybe 10 minutes to fix it. Another cool guy.

We weren't sure of the areas dynamics and it seemed to be in an "ok" neighborhood. Sometimes it's hard to tell for safety reasons. Parking lot could use a little more lighting.

The staff was very friendly. Everything was well-maintained and the hotel was beautiful.

There’s nothing that I really didn’t like the only thing I would say is I wish they had a little more options as far as breakfast

The hotel was very accommodating to our needs. We needed an early check in for whale watching since we traveled with our Pomeranian who could not go on the boat. Our whale watching was cancelled so then we needed a later check out time as well. I appreciated all the aide given. All the staff we encountered were fantastic. The breakfast was great.

I left a tv in room 508. My daughter went to get it and staff has broken it. I am still waiting on management for contacting me gor any reimbursement

Ron the front desk person and associates were great! We had an issue with the tv controllers and Ron called maintenance. The maintenance person was prompt and provided us with a substitute and showed us how to use them. Most places would have told us "too bad." The room was clean and we really appreciated the working sanitizer and wipe stations. We have stayed at a Marriot a couple of times and theirs were not filled regularly. We loved the king suite. We could not hear our neighbors, which is common in Marriot rooms. I think we are converts! Nice time though please have the promised hot breakfast.
