Seaview Hotel

I loved that it was right in the middle of everything. The bed was comfy. Room was cool & relaxing. My husband loves coffee, so that was a plus.

I didn’t like that there was sooo much space under the door that if someone looks under my door they can see what’s in my room. (Had to keep it covered with a towel) I didn’t like that the customer service was not friendly at all. Basically had to beg for clean towels & rags. & even when we asked for them, the lady just walked off with no answer. No one comes to pick up trash. & I didn’t like that at check out time, a worker comes knocking on the door yelling check out!! Suppose I had a sleeping baby. Oh annndd Elevator door got stuck.

The hotel is in a great location, we liked it. The room was cleaned and it was oceanfront. Comfortable beds and no one bothered us with room service or loud noise in the halls. We slept well even though have a Dancing Club or bar, I Don't know, very loud across the street. The price was good.

The baggage cart had just one working, it was damaged, and had a very loud noise, I was going to the elevator (there's just one) and the front desk staff was laughing about it. The Parking garage was very dirty and smelly. Signs to the parking garage should have more, I got lost a few times, and should have been a "Do not smoke" there because some people were smoking there and it was awful going to the car. The staff overall was friendly but the front desk acted like it was doing me a favor, I wish they were more charismatic so I could feel comfortable to come back and all the experience in doing check in/check out.

The room was VERY nice. Very modern and classy. The beds were so comfortable, loved the pillows. Room large. The balcony was excellent. Right on the boardwalk, could see everything going on, a great place to people-watch! We had a 911 emergency and the staff was so helpful (Rob). They asked about my daughter the next day with concern. :) But Rob was even a step better, he got us into a larger room at last-minute notice! Can't say enough praise for ROB! The parking was great! Large spaces to park, no tight squeeze and plenty of it! Can't wait to return and will always book here!! Great value also!

The renovations that have been done since they bought Econo were nice. The rooms had a very calming and updated feel.

I was surprised by the nightly parking fee. I was not expecting that as we were used to free parking when it was Econo. I also wish it hadn’t been in the “fine print”. The hotel room has a very perfumey smell that seemed like something has been sprayed to cover another smell. The worst part was probably the staff at the front desk. No eye contact at either check in or check out. They almost seemed as if they were too busy to help or acknowledge you.

Staff was exceptional! I travel a lot and I was well pleased by all of the staff. The general manager wasn’t as friendly but the rest of the staff including environmental services was top notch. The room was clean and spacious. Viewed staff consistently wiping off and sanitizing hotel beach furniture. Best staff I’ve had in many years and EVER at VA Beach. Near Perfect experience.

Fridge was a bit old and dirty. Could never get the temperature in the room right and it had to be a fly nest in the AC. Every time I killed them and came back in the baby flies were back! Lol otherwise totally great experience.

I liked the location to restaurants and stores. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, especially since we were on the 7th floor. The coffee provided in the morning got the job done. The bed pillows were like sleeping on marshmallows.

Sticky hard floors on the lower levels. Some of the staff could have been a little bit more friendly.

The staff was absolutely awesome! The location was great.

We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, the room was comfortable but the kitchenette left something to be desired. The microwave and one of two burners didn’t work. The staff quickly remedied those problems. The air conditioning unit blew cold air straight onto you as you sat at the table or tried to cook, so we had to turn it off while we were cooking or eating. We were told they are doing work at the end of the season and I would be willing to give them a 2nd try after their upgrade.

I didn’t like how the front desk person was extremely nice and helpful but on our last day Our keys were shut off. It also felt like the front desk person wanted us to get charged extra.

The customer services were spectacular, and the cleaning ladies were very friendly. The parking lot was convenient. The lounge could need a little house keeping.

The lounge needed a little housekeeping, and the cars parking need to be a little organized as people was taking up two parking spots per car.

It was right one boardwalk and a very nice view of the ocean.

I have stayed at many hotels in VA Beach. Usually they allow me to park my car early around 11 or 12 and let me check in when the room is ready. This is the first location that wanted to charge me $35. I get it, it’s their policy.
