Comfort Inn Downtown DC/Convention Center

Location, the customer service. The front desk worker Shay made the experience welcoming and I felt like I made a great choice staying here. The breakfast came with the room purchase and it was amazing, waffles, cheese omelette, sausage links, other foods to choose from. They have complimentary coffee and lemonade in the lobby until 9pm. There's a Market on the corner. If you're looking to have all your attractions in walking distance, this is perfect.

Traffic! leaving the area to travel to other attractions outside of the district was a mess, This is a busy area. I knew that coming up here for the weekend. My roommate didn't like the price of the water bottle lol. $3.00

Friendly staff, clean, fitness center. Great waffles for breakfast.

Breakfast area not layed out well. People stacked on top of each other getting food. No flow. During busy times, food items lacking. More fruit options are needed. Cranberry juice should be added. Fitness center lacking equipment (broken or missing) No parking. Why? $10/day charge to park. I get public transportation is major in this city, however, I’m visiting from out of town and have to park my car.

The room, the bed and also the restroom are very good. My option included a bathtub and this was a plus for me. The breakfast was great, with a lot of options (but arrive early because in busy days, some options end). I think the hotel is well located, for tourist places and for nightlife: I could get to Union Station and other tourist attractions for less than $10.

Too much furniture in the bedroom, I think that some of them are too much and almost not used.

This Hotel's location is great. Nice parks and streets around it. White House is about 20-25 minutes walk, subway stations are close. (Many monuments and attractions are in walking distance to each other in DC anyway). Breakfast was always filled and re-filled. Good quality food served. Lemonade, coffee, and cookies were frequently available for free at reception. Lime and other kind of scooters and bikes were always on sight.

Double beds looked a bit narrow for us.

Ok breakfast. Good location. Clean and comfy rooms. The heating system worked well and you can adjust it to your needs, which is great.

The staff at the reception were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I was asking questions and the person was not responding or listening, just looking at his computer. They did not provide me with information and had only yes no responses. That ruined my overall good opinion of the hotel.

Location, friendliness, and rooms: perfect. We don‘t need more. iMall and White House Aare within walking distance. we even could park the car in a nearby parking garage for a hotel related considerable discount. Affordable bars and restaurants are not too far away (9th). The hotel serves good breakfast. But …

… the fact that in 2022 breakfast still would be served with throw-away plates, cups, silverware shocked us and our conscience.

Location, accessibility, safety (controlled access into premises). Housekeeping was every day, a pleasant surprise, despite the claims of "only on demand".

Breakfast was not all that. Bland tasting food. Would be good if the coffee would be available later than 9pm for late nighters. Desk lighting could be better, a bit dark for working. Hot water took a while to get to the shower/tub, but once there, was sufficient. Bathroom was a little cramped.

The Inn was about a twenty minute walk away from the mall, which was really nice since it was definitely close enough. The staff was really kind and we were even able to check in early. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was good and offered a variety of different things.

Our room was a little tight and the blinds weren't working properly but it was nice and clean which made up for it. It was definitely worth the price we paid and I would recommend it.

The room was very comfortable, the breakfast every morning was very nice and satisfying. My husband and I would eat a rather large breakfast and not need to eat lunch while we were out sight seeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. I liked how close it was to the metro. I would definitely book this again.

The location was close to the National Mall and the WiFi was fast. Additionally, the breakfast had enough items, including fresh fruit. The hotel was a great value!

My biggest complaint would be there was no airport shuttle, but it was close to a metro station and a reasonable ride share ride from the airport.
