Hotel Leo

Very central and close to everything including coffee shops and restaurants. The waterfront park is 2.2 miles and it's a lovely run, walk or bike ride . The gym is massive and so well equipped . The foyer is beautiful and a nice place to sit while waiting to go out. I will definatley be back during winter season as apparently they have a large Christmas tree in the foyer so I'm sure it must be beautiful

Everything was great. You can hear the trains but that didn't bother me as I love the sound of trains. The street cleaner vehicle cleans between 2-6 am but that didn't bother me as the streets look so pretty and free of rubbish.

We needed an early check in and the hotel was more than happy to allow us to check in about an hour earlier than the normal time. Also, we had no where to hang out between the 11 AM check-out time and our flight at 4 PM. The staff allowed us to stay in the room until 1 PM and hang out in the Library, which was very comfortable, until our taxi picked us up mid-afternoon. So.... We found the staff to be extremely friendly, accommodating and polite. The bed was a slice of heaven and we slept very well.

From the moment I walked in the door I loved this property! I was greeted by Cody who was possibly THE friendliest person I’ve ever encountered. He was able to have our room ready early to accommodate our early check-in and also upgraded us to a fantastic room. He even gave us bottles of water! The room itself was huge and had everything you could need from coffee, dishes, dish towels. It was all fantastic. the location is walkable to everything. we basically parked the car (free parking) and didn’t need to move it until we left. lots of great restaurants and breweries within walking distance. The view was awesome as well.

my only complaint is the train noise. it’s intense. The first night we were woken up by the LOUD screeching of trains every hour from midnight on. the following night we turned on the room fan to drown out the noise which really helped.

This was a lovely hotel with a historic portion as well as more modern. Staff were amazing and i never ran into a "no" for any request. You are right in the center of Old Town and can walk to many food and historical attractions without moving your car from the free hotel parking. Overall a great experience.

There is some train noise that I acclimated to quite quickly.

Love the location and the staff were excellent! The hotel upgrades are very nice. The room itself was a little underwhelming for the cost. I appreciated being able to park and walk all over downtown Bellingham very much!

The room decor and amenities were a bit sparse for the cost. I would have appreciated a bit more for what I was paying. Although the location made it all worth it. I would stay at the Leo again. Thank you to the awesome staff for all their assistance.

We loved the historic hotel details and lobby, the bar was great, and our King delux room was huge. The bed was very comfortable, but the pull out sofa bed was very hard. Otherwise it was a great stay, all the amenities, we appreciated the cloth napkins and terry robes. The app to check in/out and "key" was really cool, the location great for walking to get take out and the hotel was very quiet. It was hard to find parking at first, but later on in the evening several spots opened up, so we were able to move from street to hotel parking. Great place to stay and explore.

Just the sofa bed--it was pretty hard. The king bed was super great though.

the location was super--could walk everywhere. I am glad for the free parking as that balanced out what I consider a rather high lodging price for a room that felt almost like a motel as we were assigned the annex. I would stay here again, but request the older part of the hotel. Having the ability to make a good cup of coffee in the room was a plus. Staff were very friendly.

The price seemed rather high for the room, which felt like a motel. But location is just about everything. It was good to park the car and leave it as we explored the town on foot.

The location is fantastic for walking to restaurants, stores and other things to see and do in Downtown Bellingham. We only used our car once, and that was to visit the Fairhaven District of the city, about two miles away.

The room was very cold when we arrived, the remote control for the heating/cooling system was a bit difficult to operate and it took quite awhile for the room to get to a comfortable temperature, and the suite was rather sparsely furnished and in need of more seating and kitchen items like a dish towel, dish rack and some pots and pans.

Very central hotel, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The staff was fantastic, check in was super quick (they actually offer a digital key but I had issues downloading the app) and our requests granted quickly. The space is very comfortable with good lighting and really comfortable bed. My son slept on the pullout and it was also comfortable. I loved the library with many many interesting books to browse or borrow, it’s a very cute space. We also used the deck which was a sweet little outdoor space with tables and chairs. Having a kitchen was very convenient.

Really no complaints, only that the doors are not very soundproof so you could hear people in the hallway.

Perfect location close to everything. Nicely furnished, great bar on site, nice library/pool room to hang out in.Friendly staff. Comfy beds, well equipped rooms.

Only negatives are street life and train noise can be loud in the night, but worth it to be so close to everything! And hotel does provide ear plugs.
