Red Lion Inn & Suites Port Orchard

Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. This is a converted (Days Inn, I believe). Red Lion did a great job upgrading this property but could still be improved upon. The location is not close to town, more adjacent to the highway but far enough away that there is no noise from traffic. Very close to several restaurants, fast-food and traditional as well as a gas station. Perfect location for catching the shuttle to Sea-Tac airport. If you have a car, you are close to all shopping, restaurants and the downtown Port Orchard area and about 5 miles to the Southworth-Fauntleroy ferry to West Seattle and about 3 miles to the Port Orchard to Bremerton passenger only ferry. The breakfast is quite nice, set-up early and there is an attendant is there to assist in making waffle's, bagels etc. This property is an excellent price considering the offerings especially compared to other properties in the general vicinity.

Checking in, EVERY single employee checked with me, while the original young man was away checking on my room, as I was just a little early. Impressive, how attentive they were. Everyone was very helpful, both days! Kudos!! The nice lady, Lalani, at breakfast, the first morning, was very personable and was very focused on the guest and the cleanliness of the dining area. I don't normally eat sausages, yet since it was the only protein, I tried them, and they were cooked just right, and they were delicious. A+!!

The room had a bit of an odor, maybe old smoke? But I brought spray. It was remedying quickly!

The staff here was very friendly and nice. Their bed are super comfortable. My little sister was obsessed with the pillows they’re so fluffy. It was the perfect choice for our traveling needs. Especially being so close to town. The waffles at breakfast are pretty dang good. We got to take a dip in a hot tub while we washed out clothes across the hall. I’d say I’m pretty satisfied with our stay. I happy with what we got for the price we paid. It was very worth it.

I appreciate how accommodating the staff was to my special request. I didn't want housekeeping in my room, so they gave extra garbage bags, tissues and coffee.

The eggs did not look edible. The hottub wasn't working the first few days of my stay. I kept getting different answers, as to why from various staff members.

This hotel is just dandy for my purposes: a place to sleep. The pillows were comfortable (2 on the bed and one extra.) The room was spacious and comfortable. There were little touches like make-up wipes, probably to prevent mascara residue on white towels - good thinking. It is right off the freeway and easy to find.

This is not located in the scenic area of Port Orchard, but it's not far. My only complaint is not the hotel's fault (I think.) Whoever was above me in 233 walked heavily back and forth across the room all night. They took a break maybe from 3am-5 or 6am? I had an early alarm, so I didn't want to use earplugs, but I didn't sleep well. It's possible that the room is used for laundry or storage, and staff are using it through the night, but it might just have been that the guest above me was trying to get their steps in or was dismembering a body or something.

staff was friendly and location was conveniently located with a couple restaurants and a bank/ATM. property was well kept and breakfast had a good number of options.

the guests. seemed to be a lot of very noisy guests. management was on top of it. but the walls are a bit thin and there were multiple groups that were noisy. not the property’s fault.

Bed was very comfortable and love the huge TV. Also had a great free breakfast.

The pillows were so huge that made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Also I didn’t like that they make you put your room number with your car information and make you place that in your car dashboard. Should not have to let everyone see your room number. They can use a special code instead.

A super pleasant place, we really loved the attention, the massage machines were really a relief for a tiring trip. everything was perfect.

The only thing I didn't like is that they charged me a $100 deposit without prior notice. They return it, but it will take up to 7 days. It doesn't seem right to me. I hope they return it.

Decent menu selection for breakfast, quiet and well lit, rooms and property were fairly clean, great price, and a plethora of accommodations to ensure a pleasant, comfortable stay!

the breakfast ends a bit early.. I’m a late riser, so the second night of our stay, I didn’t make it to breakfast

. I liked the fresh fruit. And the coffee was good. I liked the way your company handled the bedspread. The linens.we’re very clean!

There was no gluten free items offered for breakfast. The pillows were lumpy. It would’ve been nice to have some teabags in my room.
