Staff really helpful and accommodating. They even allowed us to extend our checkout time by 1 hour since our flight was late in the evening. Location is good in the old quarter.
Rooms were a bit tight, even the junior suite was small. Two of the rooms we booked, there was a "window" over the tub into the room but the blinds were on the outside! That means while you were showering or having a bath, your roommate could open the blinds and look in on you and you couldn't do anything about it! Absolutely ridiculous. No pool, which would've been really useful in the searing heat of hanoi. Walls paper thin. On our last night we could hear some crazy drunk neighbours talking and walking up and down the hallway, ringing doorbells and generally just being very disruptive.

Breakfast was traditional Vietnamese with some "Western traits" (fresh cooked omelettes) and enjoyable if one picked a quiet time. The location is nice - near some of "The Sites", numerous restaurants, bars and coffee shops and an interesting, safe walk to/from the Old Town.
