Acoustic Hotel & Spa

Well, I loved just about everything. The room was great, the mattress terrific, the bathroom sparkling, and everything extremely comfortable. Really great location for walking to restaurants and shopping. the best part was the staff. They are the sweetest, most helpful people in the world. I had a world class missed connection and baggage loss problem, having been sent to bloody Qatar for no damn good reason. The hotel staff interfaced with the idiot airlines people many times to try to get my bags delivered. Kim was a true champion. I love her. She was incredible communicating with me while I was miles away on Cat Ba while my bags were in London. The restaurant staff are also very sweet. If I could stay at Acoustic every time I stay in a hotel anywhere in the world, I would be ecstatic.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. One of the standout features of this hotel is the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were not only friendly but also extremely helpful. The hotel employees were always cheerful and willing to assist with any request or inquiry we had. From the gentleman opening the door for us, to the receptionist, and the breakfast staff, everyone greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. We were particularly impressed by the hotel's response to a noise issue in a neighboring building. As soon as we notified them about the disturbance, they immediately upgraded our room at no additional cost. This unexpected gesture completely surpassed our expectations and truly demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. Moreover, the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort and convenience. They even arranged a shower for us before our train journey to Sapa. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and made our transition to the next leg of our trip much more enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to different preferences. Overall, our experience at this hotel was exceptional, and we would definitely choose this place again without hesitation. The friendly and helpful staff, combined with the incredible service they provided, made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so fantastic. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Breakfast was awesome, best we had in Vietnam also the addition of free afternoon tea was great. I loved how comfortable our bed was, some people had complained about beds being too hard, this is one of the reasons I chose this hotel hoping for a firm comfortable bed. Location was good for a lot of tourist sites, Prison, museums, church etc. We were offered a shower in Spa before boarding our late train which they upgraded to allowing us to use a private room for 40mins which was greatly appreciated. Also it is only a short distance to the Railway. All the staff were very lovely and helpful with great English making it easy for us.

I have stayed in better areas closer to more Restaurants but the convenience of being close to a lot of tourist locations made up for this. I did have a problem with being hit up for full payment almost immediately after stepping through front door. After 3 flights and a total of 20hrs travel and being very tired I found this extremely annoying. No other hotel in Vietnam did this to us.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Location was excellent, being in the Old quarter and close to the city centre. Our room was fabulous (we had a suite), facilities included a roof top bar and 2 hot tubs. We used the Spa, my wife got her nails done and I had a massage. Lovely breakfast with a great selection of hot and cold food including an egg station. All of the staff in the hotel ( including the managers ( sorry I forgot your names) were really polite and friendly and could not have done enough for us to make us feel welcome. The staff were so helpful in recommending which trips to book and which we really enjoyed. We booked our hotel transfers with the hotel which removes any hassle getting to and from the airport. We have to make a special mention to Nam who made our check in so easy and he ensured we were satisfied with everything. Also Kim who worked on reception. Kim was so lovely, she was so attentive and greeted us every day with her beaming smile and genuinely interested in what we had planned each day. We will most definitely recommend this hotel. Everything was perfect.

The staff at this hotel are without doubt, the best in Hanoi, if not of anywhere I’ve ever stayed in the world. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Every time we returned from a day out we were greeted by name and welcomed back. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the birthday cake they arranged for us was beautiful. The location is great, in between Train Street and Hoan Kiem lake; a 6 minute walk to each. The daily complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch and the roof terrace fantastic. My son also had some laundry and dry cleaning done and this was very cheap and a fast service. I had a foot massage and a facial in the spa and this was really relaxing. I also spent some much needed quiet time sat in the beautiful reception with a complimentary juice before a busy day. I will absolutely return here next time I am in Hanoi.

Great location, could walk to the sights that we wanted to see. I booked a room with a balcony (think it was a junior suite), well worth the money and great to have a bit of outdoor space in a city. Breakfast was good, lots of choice including fresh cooked eggs, Pho etc The staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They noticed that we had an early flight so made us a packed breakfast including hot tea (before the kitchen was open). I would like to thank all the staff as they were really friendly and helpful

The skybar was closed due to staff illness, but to be honest the weather in March is still pretty chilly so I don't feel I missed out on a drink up there. We still had access to go up there and see the views.

Loved all of the staff, the people are so warm, welcoming and helpful. They really make the place a great option to stay. They contact you via whatsapp to help you with airport transfers, will help you book tours, find restaurants and bars and anything else you can think of. The hotel is in a great location and our room was really comfortable, we had a fairly small room but there are larger options that look really lovely. I like that the hotel has a rooftop bar, the bar staff mix a killer cosmo and the breakfast was awesome!

There were a few things that could be improved on but didn't negatively affect our stay in any way - the afternoon tea and the rooftop bar were a bit understocked so we looked outside for those things. The on site spa was not as good as one just down the road but again there's a spa on every corner so it's not really a problem. And the hotel is a little more run down than online images show but they are doing refurbishment and post covid I feel all pre existing hotels should be given a 3-5yr grace period.

Staff helped everywhere were needed. Nothing was to much asked. And asking for facilities as a taxi were correct priced. The roof top bar was great and gave us a fantastic view of the surrounding + the cocktails were very good made at an affordable pricing.

If something need to be improved then it is when it heavily rains the roof top stairs can be slippery as the rain is coming downstairs. But that's really finding an issue if we really need to give something negative. Honestly nothing was bad. We have been many times in Vietnam and for this pricing it is the best we ever had. Of course you can have better ones but for sure you will pay much more. I saw in other reviews complaints about the construction works which are next door and yes it's true that around 8:00 you hear the works starting. But it will be temporarily. Ask for a room at a higher level and you don't hear almost anything.

Miss Oanh Nguyen from Acoustics Hotal has done a very good job by messaging me on my needs and arrangement before my arrival to Hanoi. Miss Oanh Nguyen and the staffs in the entire hotel are very helpful and friendly. Good location , perfect view from the rooftop and having a motorbike parking in the hotel is my most concern and convenient. I am going to Hanoi again on May for my business trip for 5 nights and I have already booked the same hotel again and looking forward to meet the staffs of the entire hotel.

During my March stay in the hotel and my room is just beside the lift and is too noise for me and it waked me up middle of the night when there are people talking while waiting or coming out from the lift. Miss Oanh Nguyen is noted and will arranges more quiet and more privacy room for my coming May stay in order to have good rest after my business meetings.

Located on the edge of the old town means most of the attractions are not too far away. Our room was very nice (upgraded) and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Opposite is a little bar which is open until late and on the roof top there is a great happy hour with views of the city. There is a travel desk to help with excursions and the hotel is surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants.

Afternoon tea is complimentary but served in a rather subdued and depressing space upstairs. They should re-locate this to the ground floor area behind reception where there is a grand piano and a little bar area that would do very nicely.
