great gym equipment , breakfast was superb quality with good variety .

there should be an option at lobby to refill water bottles to encourage more sustainable behaviour amongst guests . daily plastic water bottles should be a thing of the past

we should have been informed that out of the 3 rooms I booked only two rooms have breakfast included when we checked in. the misunderstand was not a good experience. but it is booking.com’s fault to not include the breakfast for one of the rooms. when I booked it it was stated breakfast included.

The Asian restaurant is only opening for dinner.

The room and staff were great. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot of variation as well. Very convenient location to reach the city centre/Old quarter without having the busy and noisy streets bother you too much.

Would love to have the daily amenities (I.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, cottonbuds, etc) to be separated. And this is quite a common thing to a lot of places and not just Melia to be fair.As we might only need one of them and opening the whole package, then getting everything replaced every day was a little wasteful. Otherwise, the place was perfect, and we will definitely come back.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and helpful staff. I especially appreciate the assistance given to me by the front desk staff who went above and beyond to ensure that I was properly checked in at The Level Lounge. Their cheerful demeanor and informative conversation with one of them about the history of Hanoi and Vietnam truly made my day. The service at the Level Lounge was equally impressive. The food spread was amazing and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Ms Du, who assisted me with my check-in, was exceptional. She was always smiling and went out of her way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. Her kind gesture of arranging transport to the airport and escorting me to my room and the lift lobby was truly appreciated. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and I loved the wide selection of pillows available. The bed, pillows, and quilt were so comfortable that I even considered purchasing one of your pillows. The attention to detail in the room was outstanding and made my stay all the more enjoyable. Overall, my stay at your hotel was the best I have ever experienced. I truly felt at home and wished that I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be returning in the future to explore more of Hanoi and to once again experience the exceptional service and warm hospitality of your hotel and staff. Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience.

Again - generally exceptional; though for a ***** hotel, room AC panel didn’t work, one of the two shower heads was faulty, and considering how much they charge - would expect some items to be included… (buffet breakfast $ 40.00 for 2 / day, small laundry $ 50.00) esp. with both restaurants being under renovation simultaneously; & the only area reserved being a repurposed conference room. Or make it more expensive to begin with; & provide a full service.

The Melia is only a few steps away from Hoan Kiem Lake. Rooms a spacious with wonderfully comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. All of it very clean and cofortable. The hotel has an enormous breakfast buffet with a wide selection of western and Asian food. Well worth the money but to fully enjoy the selection you need to plan some time for breakfast. The free pick up from the airport was much appreciated and worked without a hitch.

The bar closed at 10 pm. There were no drinks available in the whole hotel after 10 pm

Nice location, very nice room, very comfortable bed and pillows, large room, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Noise, they are renovating the hotel and we understood this but to drill at 7 o clock in the morning was to much ! We did not receive water and cleaning services in our last day and we did our check out at 14 00. Otherwise every day they used to change the bottles of water and they cleaned the room at 9 00 am. Feeling that they want get rid of us !

Overall service was great. Concierge Mr Tuan was super helpful with our requests and questions.

Hand shower holder was broken. Couldn't loosen the holder to change the position of the hand shower when mounted. Also, the overhead rainshower water pressure was too low. Had to use the hand shower.

Hot fresh cooked poached eggs were fabulous especially with a a little bit of smoked salmon on the side, a massive variety of breakfasts to enjoy

Only having the choice of one restaurant as the others were all under renovations, however, it forced us to go and find a few outside restaurants that made up for this inconvenience.
