We ended up booking a stay here for 2 nights after our flight to Buenos Aires was cancelled during the worker strike. Our hotel room was so nice, the windows open nice and wide to allow for a nice breeze, the bathroom is very spatious, the beds were so comfortable. Everyone was very kind. We had their delicious breakfast and made a reservation for dinner in their restaurant. The food in the restaurant was so good, we had struggled to find good food in Calafate and ended up finding the best food right in this hotel :) We sat in their courtyard and enjoyed the nice day and even did yoga one night. Upon us leaving they helped us schedule a Taxi to the airport.

A Grand Dame Hotel. Once a Sheep Ranch now a lovely hotel. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, with a large window that opened onto a beautifyl wooded yard. Enjoyed having the window open for a cool breeze. The breakfast buffet was very nice in a lovely room overlooking the property. The hotel is a bit far from central downtown to walk but they do provide bikes for free use. We did ride all over Calafate - even down to the amazing lake front to watch the ducks and flamingo. Was hoping for more of an active sheep ranch vibe but did really enjoy this hotel.

A bit far from downtown to walk, so taxi or car is needed. Also, had some difficulty finding this hotel at first. Could use some additional signage. Our room could use a little maintenance (such paint) in the bathroom.

lovely historical property with beautifully kept grounds. lavender bushes in front of my window with bumble bees busy all day. beautifully decorated rooms, good breakfast with fresh fruit and some cooked options. and very attentive, friendly staff. an added bonus were the bikes that were free to use: they came in very handy to quickly get into the town center, since i didnt have a car. all in all a delight.

Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable

Wifi didn't reach the room. the "mini bar" was expensive and hardly a mini bar - i would have expected those things to be free! Staff maybe could have been a little more honest about how the busses /tours work.

Awesome environment, just a few steps from the Estancia 25 de Mayo, where we could feel the true spirit and traditions of Patagonia (Pancho is great!). The staff is kind and prompt, Nicholas in particular is the best. We travelled with two little babies (2 & 1 year old) and everything went smooth. Breakfast peculiar, very good with local artesanal products.

The place is clean and tidy, but the bathroom could be cleaned a bit harder.

What a lovely place to stay! Charming hotel with a bright lounge, excellent buffet breakfast and good restaurant for nights you want to eat on site. The staff were wonderful and made us feel at home. Many thanks to Nicolas for the warm welcome, great suggestions and assistance as well as to Juliette and Mateo who were also lovely and helpful. Loved our stay and recommend.

Amazing location surrounded by beautiful hills! Very close to the downtown area where the shops and restaurants are (10-15m walk or a 2m drive)

Everything was perfect and as pictured, my room in particular didn’t have a view but at least felt private.

The building and grounds are charming, and quite unique. Loved the architecture, the historic aspects, and the excellent art. We had an excellent trout dinner in the hotel restaurant, with a salad made of the freshest greens, no doubt grown on the property.

Charming older hotel a bit off the beaten path where the headquarters of an estancia used to be. The staff were helpful, friendly and competent, and spoke English pretty well. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all good.

The hotel is beautiful ( it used to be an old farmhouse), the room was big enough and the bed comfortable.

Breakfast could improve (we got a slice of bread with mold!). Location isn’t great because is away from the city center, but taking a taxi was quick and non-expensive (around 2 usd each way)
