Very quiet, comfortable room, well equipped and well maintained. Motel situated within an easy walk of the town centre. Was able to easily organise a late check out time. Staff friendly and accomodating.

Toilet paper somewhat harsh. Interesting definition of a Continental Breakfast, some diferent breads i.e. wholemeal or multigrain woud be good also some non sugary cereals or some muesli would help those with dietary needs. No room service available. No seperate parking bays for motorcycles and car bays not marked with room numbers making parking a bit of a free for all. Would be good if when booking there was the option to specify a ground floor room.

Very happy with room, cleanliness etc

Staff could’ve been better. Don’t want to get too personal but staff in reception could perhaps tend to personal hygiene. The staff member in dining room at breakfast was very put out when anyone asked if the food at the continental breakfast could be replenished. This occurred a number of times with many of the diners. It wasn’t at all busy with maybe ten people in the dining room all serving themselves from the tables but when food ran out and we asked if there was more white bread or butter etc there was some huffing and it was evident the staff member wasn’t happy.

I liked the decor in the room

It was a struggle with the checkin as the Reception closes early and the kiosk for keys - self checkin does not work properly. This was very disappointing, particularly after 3 telephone calls yo the Reception desk earlier in the day advising them of my late arrival time. Being a business guest, I can only catch the flight that lands at 8pm in Armidale, so it would be great if there was someone available from 8-9pm to welcome all the business guests that fly in from Sydney for work. Heads up …… This is one of the main reasons that the Country Comfort Inn down the road from your hotel is always fully booked with business guests from Sydney.

The shower was the best shower I have ever used in a motel. Strong fast WiFi. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchenette with big fridge. Cold water bottles in fridge. Breakfast included in restaurant which had a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Had a late check in which is super easy to use. Was my best stay and the cheapest I spent. Very good price.

Only thing I didn't like was family rooms were upstairs, and the chain on door a bit hard to get undone. But other than that nothing bad to fault it.

The added bonus of breakfast included in the price made mornings easy. The room was clean and adequate. The area was quiet and we were not bothered by noise at all.

Personally, and this is very subjective, the bed was too firm, but it wasn't that bad that we couldn't sleep and we know other people prefer a firm mattress. Very small issue. The only other thing that was a bit odd was the odour as you opened the door due to the drain in the bathroom. It was extremely smelly. Ventilation helped with this!

Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Location was handy to leave the car and explore Armidale on foot. Room and the facilities were a fantastic surprise when opening the door. Very beautifully presented and clean and tidy. Loved the shower pressure too after a long day of sightseeing. We also loved having a desk to sit at and sort out our travel plans/progress too.

Upon entering the room, I was pleased to find it clean, tidy, and welcoming. The small teapot and tea bags on the tray were a thoughtful touch and the fact that a light was left on made my arrival in the dark much more pleasant. Everything I needed was readily available. The late check-in process was simple and collecting the key was easy. Thank you.

I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience and I have nothing to add.

The refurbished queen room was beautiful. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. It has been done up so beautifully. We absolutely loved it.

The breakfast that came with the room wasn't the best. The skim milk for the cereal was 4 days out of date and was rotten. The coffee I ordered and paid for was not great. The person at the coffee machine didn't know what a half strength coffee was.

Staff were casually dressed and seemed very young to be managing the place, but they were delightful, gracious, funny and helpful. We had good conversation and laughs together. They even tidied and reset our room with new linen for the second day, which was great.

Signage has a sifferent business name and the area behind the reception desk is untidy.

The room was spotless and the the box breakfast was really nice. Best bed we have slept whilst on holiday. Smart TV which is great on holiday. We had an incident with the people in the next room fighting loudly late at night and the management dealt with it swiftly and with aplomb.

Car spaces were a bit narrow and the tradies staying - whilst very quiet - left muddy bits around - there were boot cleaners at the bottom of the stairs so the property should have perhaps hosed down more near stair bottoms and entries.
