A typical motel - single-storey with a space outside to park your car. Very light, IKEA-modern and clean inside. Microwave, fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh milk supplied from reception. All the basic crockery, cutlery and glassware for two and (unusually) a table and 2 dining chairs, plus two easy chairs. There was a comprehensive file of maps, places to eat, walks, drives etc. I did the self-guided walk around the town in the early evening, which was really pleasant.

Just a few issues: - there is a major error on the website in the description of a deluxe queen room, which was the type we stayed in. It states: “room size 11m2”. That means 11m long and 11m wide, which it most certainly wasn’t! The stated size must be amended, we would suggest to 11 square metres, which is far closer to reality. - the icebox needed defrosting - the bathroom extractor fan was very noisy - the towels were past their best, a bit thin and rough - the hinges on the bathroom door could do with oiling.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a queen room (i.e. not the standard motel room) and I was very glad I was. This particular room has obviously been renovated recently and the renovation is superb. There were so many nice touches and it had everything I needed (including hooks in the bathroom! It's surprising how many hotels don't have these!) This is one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed in (in this price range) and I will absolutely stay here again and make sure I get this room. Highly recommended!

That I was only here one night! There was literally nothing that I could complain about - this room was amazing value for money.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us after our car broke down and we hitched a ride into town. As a family of 6 it is not always easy to find affordable accommodation which fits us in. The owner found a spare mattress, provided bedding and kept our room on hold in case we needed to stay another night all without fuss or charge. The location was brilliant, room comfy and quiet, and service exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Estelle Kramer and it didn't disappoint - the apartments here are great but the standard motel rooms are good too and have everything you need or would expect for the price. The available space is used well and everything is clean and comfortable.

The water pressure in the shower could have been a bit better, but everything else was fine.

The spacious, renovated two-bedroom apartment we stayed in was tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable. The large, sunny location balcony was lovely in the mornings. The location was great and the staff friendly.

A little bit more attention to detail with cleaning was needed (e.g. some surfaces, some kitchen items, the remote control) and we were a little concerned about the hole in the back fence (i.e. with security). We initially had issues with the wifi, but it worked very well in the end.

I rarely give top score but this one deserves it. Clean, cosy and great value for money. Host was friendly and his dog too. Heated blanket was a great plus (0°C at night these days)

Maybe wifi range could have been better but i think it was just the position of my room (9), which wasn’t great from the bedroom.

Great little kitchen has recently been renovated. Location was perfect for walking to have dinner right in the heart of the main street.

Bed was uncomfortable rolled to the middle woke up with sore back and only hooks on back of door to hang clothes. One night ok but if you were staying for a couple nowhere to hang and unpack anything.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, they made you genuinely feel like part of the family. The room was renovated, more than large enough for two people and with fridge, crockery, cutlery and tea n coffee making facilities. The room was spotlessly clean and also had electric blankets, ironing board and iron, hairdryer and air con. Great value for money and everything you could need as well as enormous smiles from the staff.

We got a newly renovated room for our stay. It was spacious enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The kitchen had everything we needed also. The location was perfect we were able to walk everywhere we needed and curtis park was the kids favourite

Proximity to the town centre. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room was clean.

The warm blanket for the beds and air conditioning wasn’t working well, considering how cold it can get during the night. The bed wasn’t comfortable, very hard surface.
