One of the standout features of my stay at the Abel Tasman Motor Inn was the exceptional customer service provided by the gentleman who checked me in. His insightful recommendations helped me navigate the city and make the most of my visit, ensuring that I didn't miss out on any of the must-see attractions. His personalized touch truly made me feel like a valued guest, and I greatly appreciated his efforts in making my experience memorable. The Abel Tasman Motor Inn's strategic location made it the ideal base for exploring Dubbo and its renowned zoo. Situated conveniently close to the city's attractions, including the zoo, it allowed for easy access to all the wonderful experiences Dubbo has to offer. This saved time on commuting and maximized the time I could spend enjoying the sights and activities. Whether it was a day at the zoo or exploring the city's other attractions, the inn's proximity played a pivotal role in making my trip enjoyable and stress-free.

The door had a small gap in the top and the bottom which made noise and early morning traffic a bit of a problem.

Location was within walking distance to the bowling club (reason we went). Not far of a drive to Main Street and shopping centres. Man at the office was friendly.

Turning into the car park could be stressful as you had to cross two lanes on the highway. We had some knock and runs, as well as smashing glass and someone screaming in the car park at 3am, not the hotels fault. Towards the end of our stay we were only given one towel for days and our bath mat/ hand towel was taken and not replaced.

Easy check in and two small bottles of fresh milk were provided for tea and coffee. The room was spacious enough for three of us and the bathroom was clean. The microwave was very handy.

Only four tea bags provided in the room, so we had to go out for supplies. Our room was at the front so it does receive a fair bit of traffic noise, as it is on a highway with a lot of trucks whizzing past. Having said that I would book again.

Very clean and enormous room with huge bathroom with a massive spa - very clean. Bed was comfortable and had kitchenette for tea and coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend - across the road from Club Dubbo so easy walk to dinner and a few km to zoo/town centre.

Our room faced the main road so a bit of road noise but only at night before bed and early in the morning

The property was clean, tidy and well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful in advising on places to eat and best times to go due to NRL and AFL games. The room was very spacious with all amenities that we needed. The shower pressure was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing family room set up for 2 adults and 3 children. We were travelling for 3 weeks and this was by far the best family room we stayed in during that time. Room was very clean, warm, comfortable and the kitchenette was well stocked. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

A well maintained motel with superb reception. They did house keeping every morning. Comfortable mattress, that is very important to me.

A little bit noise from the road, but even not bother me who is very sensitive to noise. So I think the night is quiet.

The beds were comfortable and well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay and despite the highway being close, the noise was never a problem.

I would prefer a sink out in the main room. Having to use the sink in the bathroom for water with 6 people was sometimes an issue.

Non-work related travel for family vacation. Property matched expectations. Very good stay. Staff polite. Facilities what you would expect. Could have sleep many. Good space. Very clean and comfortable. Expected value for this time of year (Xmas). Good easy location, very close to Zoo.

Very friendly service at the desk. Room was big and well laid out for our family of 3. TV had Foxtel channels as well as Free to Air. Beds were comfy. Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Teenager was happy with the wifi, fast and appeared not to be limited. We ordered breakfast to the room, it was great. We decided to eat dinner at Club Dubbo, which was directly over the road, so we could walk to it, we were very impressed with the Bistro there, It catered for all our tastes including several vegetarian options.
