The room was very clean and comfortable.. The microwave and electric jug worked well, we didn't use the toaster but it was provided. The mugs were a decent size, which may seem trivial, but it's nice to get a decent cup of tea! The shower was great, good water pressure and really hot water. We had requested a ground floor room and that was no problem. The motel is situated close to parks and within walking distance to the zoo. We enjoyed walking along the river and seeing the abundant bird life.

The staff were exceptional. Competent and friendly. The restaurant was excellent. First class food and service. The facilities were good. Pool was clean and very popular with our grandchildren. Didn’t use the tennis court, but it looked fine. The location was perfect for visiting the zoo, and only a five minute drive into town. Our suite was great - plenty of room and clean, if a bit tired.

Maintenance generally left a bit to be desired. WiFi didn’t work, timber decking coming to pieces, whole place looked like it needed a fresh coat of paint and some tlc. Constant reminders about potential theft were a bit unsettling, but have to admit it’s better to know!

When I finally got the room I had booked and paid for it was very comfortable.

I didn't like been given a smaller twin bed room without any mention at check in when I had chosen and paid for a larger queen size double bed (supposedly bigger than average). When I went back to reception I can't say I was met with either an apology or pleasantness from the staff. They did so much pulling of faces and muttering I was certainly a huge inconvenience to them. I doubt I will go back... A long time Booking.com user, this should be addressed.

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. The location was in good proximity to the Touch fields and clubs. The pool area was inviting.

I missed not having a freezer compartment to the Bar fridge as I needed ice for my daughter's drink bottles for State Cup Touch and also to ice her shin splints. The layout of the small area for toaster and kettle next to the door wasn't ideal. I expected to have more cutlery and plates available for our toast i.e. not a single knife.

So many of the last-minute hotels for travel have no staffing i.e. key boxes. It was lovely to be greeted by a nice smile and friendly staff as we booked in. We opted for budget not yet renovated room but it was much better than we anticipated so good value for money. A weary traveller we were over the moon when staff went out of their way to ensure we had a hot meal despite room service being closed. We had been delayed by flood detours and had not wanted to stop and lose time to grab something to eat. Being able to get a hot meal at the end of the day was wonderful and the meal was great!

Comfortable and modern. Loved that we had a private balcony and the room was quiet being away from the highway. Very grateful to access early check in- thank you! Maintenance issue was fixed efficiently.

Hands down the worst motel shower I’ve ever used. It was a walk in shower and the water ran through the whole bathroom. The shower head was also broken and almost unusable but that was addressed once reception was notified. No microwave.

implementing not smoking out the front of rooms would be amazing as that’s not the best smell to walk out to in the morning. also a LOT of road noise so if you are a light sleeper this isn’t the place for you. staff also seem very untrained and unprofessional (this was the restaurant)

Had to plug kettle in, in toilet area. ???? Which 1 switch is broken. Not very convenient. Toaster was plugged into plug and placed on the only bench available, lead only just long enough. No room to fit both. Card details were handed over at booking. Message stated, payment on arrival (my choice). I WANTED TO PAY CASH. Card charged before arrival. WTF. ????????

Modern, quiet and clean rooms. The shower had amazing pressure, bed was great and towels were fluffy. These little comforts matter! We ate at the restaurant- oh wow!! The food was incredible (a little shame about the service) but I can see why we were lucky to get a booking, even mid week. Highly recommend! The reception staff communicated the ‘Boil Water’ notice for Dubbo well and were happy to help with requests.

The pillows!! There were 4 different types of pillows on the bed (credits for choices) but my husband and I both wanted the single soft pillow there. I needed up sleeping on one of the decorative pillows- not ideal. The shower leaked- just a little pet peeve of mine. Your feet should only be wet IN the shower.

Staff were very nice, room was clean, a good size and comfortable,lots of car parking, was great value for money. would definitely stay again.

We had a room towards the front of the facility so the road traffic was quite noisy from early morning, would ask for a room towards the back of the complex next time.
