The room was very generous in size and I requested a bath and was able to have a bath included. The bed was a very big king size, which was great. The air con worked really well. Enough stations on the tv for what we wanted. The towels were huge and luxurious. Very easy to walk to the club next door and it had everything that we needed and wanted, a bar, variety of meals, footy on the tv, a lounge area to watch tv, music which we danced to, we played roulette for a short time. Next morning I dropped down to the the club to get takeaway coffee and hot chocolate. If we were there a little longer I am sure we would've enjoyed the pool. We were able to have a later check out time, which worked out to be the best part about our stay.

We like a balcony to have some afternoon drinks before going out. We would probably would request that or pay a little more for a balcony next time.

We stayed to attend the Liverpool Doll Show. The hotel is adjoined to the catholic club venue and so very convenient. Free outdoor parking- fab! We had a welcoming check-in and all staff were lovely throughout. The room was spotless and we were very happy with it. Elevators were quick. Comfortable bed and a stylish bathroom. The breakfast buffet was astonishingly good- highly recommend getting breakfast included with your stay!

There was a bit of noise from the hallway as others passed our room. The food from the catholic club is $ and not great so bear in mind that you’re a bit of a captive audience.

Great location, easy parking, friendly staff and accessible. Room was well appointed and we loved the large fridge. Room did smell of cigarettes, but as ex smokers it didn't bother us. Spa was deep and looked inviting, however spent too much time in the club downstairs and never ended up using it. Pool looked awesome and the choice of restaurants made it easy to please anyone. Room service menu was also great. We love Mercure and will definitely stay again.

Was supposed to be a 3rd person sleeping in our room and was told there would be a pull out bed for them, which was a pull out sofa that was not at all made up, so we had to make it ourselves for our daughter. Mould in the shower, bathroom sink wouldn't drain and when we spike to staff in the morning we were told there was a trick to it, you have to stick your hand in and pull the drain cover up.. yuck! No soap in the shower only moisturiser, shampoo and conditioner. Floors in bathroom were powdery (went all over my clothes- dirty ones luckily).

Spacious quiet room, spa bath with nice big shower and bathroom, great breakfast selection recommend including breakfast with your stay, comfy bed, convenient charger/Bluetooth dock, bar area onsite with gaming area open until early hours of the morning, staff super helpful, clean facilities, good pool area though we couldn’t swim with the cold weather

Truly minor inconveniences- No mini bar selection so had to order room service, no drinks menu for room service would be convenient to have this available, no tea/coffee selection/facilities in room, vending machines don’t take cash - just makes it a bit difficult as we weren’t in a rental car while we stayed and relied on Ubers

The room was very clean and close to the elevator, the bed was also very comforting. It was nice to come back to my room after work and it was tidy bed was made and the dishes were done. Nice sound proof room. The staff were infomative about the area.

The only thing I didn't like was when It was time to take my presrciption meds they weren't on the counter in the bathroom where I left them the room service had thrown it out thinking it was rubbish. So I had to wait 2 days till I returned home so I could see my doctor to get more

Room are clean and spacious. Bed was big and spacious even for 2 people. And bathroom was great, had everything we needed. It was a nice stay away from home without compromising the comfort of 'home'. And it was easy to ask reception to call a taxi for us when we wanted to leave our car behind. Very seamless process.

Good downstairs at the club was OK. Not the greatest. But it was delivered promptly and on satisfactory. Just did not make me rush to eat again. Should note the food downstairs at the club does not reflect the stay of the hotel.

location is close to public transport, shops, Restaurants bars, chemist and the Motorway. Plenty of activities to do nearby as well. The breakfast buffet has so much choices of yummy food also great varieties of cold and warm drinks. The staff at the breakfast bar are very professional and always making sure everything was great with my food. Mercure Liverpool is a very clean hotel, they do take pride in their setup which shows throughout.

The bathroom vent isn’t so well designed, the bathroom gets so steamy even with minimum hot water use when having a shower due to no no windows or proper airflow. The water drain in the shower doesn’t drain well instead the water would spread outside the shower screen causing the bathroom to be very wet.

Buffet breaks was great, fresh and tasty. The staff went out of their way to help me while at breakfast. Very fast room service. Spa bath was great I loved the bathroom and the large windows. Mood lighting was great too. It was a great escape. The pool was great too, I loved the little kid pool.

The portacots at the hotel are in very bad condition. Not being able to control the air con was a bit annoying having to call up for it.

Mercure Sydney Liverpool is a place I've always wanted to stay at. Finally did on our most recent family trip to Sydney. We loved staying here. We stayed at 3 different places in Liverpool in one week and this was the best by far; kids loved it too. Nice swimming pool which the kids loved. One of the good things we liked about staying here was the friendliness and politeness of the housekeepers! The maids were all so kind and lovely 🙂 and the buffet breakfast was good too! Great range & variety - we absolutely LOVED the Pancake machine! Those pancakes were delicious 😉 it's good that it's attached to the Liverpool Catholic Club aswell, right next door so heaps of eating & dining options. Unfortunately we never got the chance to do any mini-golf or Ice Skating but how fantastic that all of these facilities are all in one 👍👌

When we arrived, the grumpy old man at the Reception was not warm or inviting. He didn't even say hello or greet us let alone crack a smile! So it was a little bit awkward checking in as I felt the man at reception wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Apart from that, everything else was fine.

Clean and tidy room, amazing staff that were very welcoming.

Cost of minibar items. Toiletries like tooth brushes, paste etc were not included. The tv didn't allow chrome casting and all movies were ridiculously priced ($15-16 EA). When paying for a hotel stay you'd expect to be able to stream your own movies/shows like many other hotels allow you to do.
