Super clean and nice design
Nitpick, but this hotel should stop marketing itself as 5 star. It is 4 star at best; I struggle to name a trait that makes it 5 star, it does not even have the basics like a swimming pool, gym, let alone things like valet. It is just a super new and clean hotel with some notion of interior design.

The staff were so understanding and helpful, I really appreciated the staffs help. We were having an family emergency and their willingness to go that extra mile for us, especially Hagi and Jaime, who was there in our dire time of need ~ We will forever be grateful for their outstanding service and kindness. I loved how colourful the decoration was and how clean and easy it was to move around. No matter where you are, it is photogenic. Bored of working in your room? Go to the lobby, tired of that spot, go to the other side of the lobby, it’s excellent. Easy to walk around and navigate to public transport. Also love the chairs in the lobby, reminds me of Task Master the tv show.
Nothing. I loved everything. If I was being forced to find something, I would like a vending machine for late night nibbles. But that’s not a big issue because the location is so convenient for Uber rides and food delivery services to get to and there is a pub across the road and a convenience store 4 minutes away if you really want something late at night to eat.

This was the first time I've stayed here since they opened their new building and the rooms were just lovely. The furniture and facilities are quite basic but the colours and patterns really make for a fun experience. When I arrived I was really happy to find that they have a "Winter Offer" which allowed me to upgrade my basic room to a king with balcony for only $35. (Can only do this at the property and not online!!) I've stayed here numerous times and always find it great value for money. Compared to most hotels with their cold and sterile atmosphere accentuated by elevator music (always reminds me of a place where you'd wait for St Peter to call your name), the vibe at The Adge is unreal with the decor, music AND ESPECIALLY THE STAFF creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. I have disabilities and anxiety and find the staff at The Adge to be one of the EASIEST and FRIENDLIEST groups of people to deal with. If you can stay here and can get a room with a balcony. Do it. If you have a few extra people, I've previously stayed in their lofts and oh. My. Gosh. Do think. Book it.
The electricals in the room were odd. Things would just randomly turn off. Also, I'm a very petite person (5"1 and 50kg) and found the toilet position in my bathroom to be incredibly crampt. A bigger person would be very uncomfortable and I have larger friends who I know just wouldn't fit.

Loved everything here, from arrival with the warm and friendly staff (from Madrid) and then the fabulous room. So clean. The first clean bathroom we have had on our stays in Australia (usually black mould in the showers) and the room was lovely and spacious. Fabulous, comfortable bed and lovely pillows. There was nothing that I would change. Very quiet as well. All our interactions with the staff were delightful guy from Sardenia as well) and I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. It is walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, museums, CBD. We never had to walk more than 8 minutes to eart out ad lots of very, very good paces.

I liked the location of the hotel and the availability of public transport and restaurant choices. It was an easy walk, train ride or bus to anywhere in the city. Internet worked well with no issues.
Hotel rooms are too over the top in colors. It felt like I was in a psychedelic cave. Shower stall is small for a larger person. Would like more comfortable table and chairs to work or eat at. Staff had problems running my credit card on multiple occassions.

The location was very convenient for public transport. I had an upstairs room with a wide view of the city looking across to Darlinghurst. The bathroom was new and clean, and there was a large fridge so I could store some things.I found a very good Lebanese restaurant nearby and also a great little Thai place, both within walking distance.
It is very hard to find a parking space in the street, and the in house parking was quite expensive. I had to catch a ride to the airport, which was not too expensive, but the driver complained about the pickup spot with no parking, and said he normally would refuse to pick someone up from there.

Great location, quiet and near the city. could walk in easily otherwise plenty of bus options. $10 uber to city. Near Supermarkets and Food places. Lunch at hotel restaurant was brilliant, little Korean place. Room was compact. Could do with different range of coffee pods and better tea offerings. Partially see thru shower and toilet so be aware if sharing with non close family/friends. Would be nice to have cold water ready in cold fridge but fridge only works with key card so had to leave one card in there permanently. Nice aircon. Sink plughole got stuck but maintenance came late at night to fix straight away. Friendly staff and safe location right next to the big police station.

Great location close to everything from public transportation to restaurants bars and sydneys gay nightlife. The ADGE has become my preferred place to stay while in sydney. There are so many room types too. Something for everyone. The Really comfortable beds are very much appreciated. The air conditioning in the newer rooms is some of the quietest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel anywhere
I’ve stayed a few times this month. On Saturday 7th September my husband and I were placed in One of the older refurbished rooms and although the room was extremely spacious it had absolutely feeble water pressure in the shower. It was so bad that it made having a shower virtually impossible. Last nights room. 803 was a little compact but perfectly formed for one. I love the glass shower recess with hand shower attachment. Much better than trying to shower over a bath tub where the dribble was either cold or luke warm at best. I did appreciate the extra space in the refurbished room though.

The hotel's design and art exude a sense of luxury. I thoroughly enjoyed the playfulness of the decor in my room, as well as in the lifts and lobby areas. Additionally, I appreciated its highly convenient location, situated just next to two bus stops and only 10 minutes away from train and light rail stations. The immediate area is also pleasant, featuring a variety of European cafés and restaurants. A short walk further reveals a range of oriental cuisines. Inside my room, I was pleased to find that it was equipped with modern amenities, including the ability to stream apps from my phone, iPad, or laptop directly to the TV. The room also had ample AC outlets available for charging devices. Furthermore, the alarm clock's wireless charging feature allowed me to easily recharge my phone.
I found it challenging to adjust the TV's brightness to a comfortable level, particularly when trying to sleep at night. Additionally, streaming from my iPhone occasionally resulted in connection drops for no apparent reason, requiring me to re-establish the stream and restart watching my movie. I would have also appreciated having control over the room's lighting, including brightness and color settings. However, the hotel's lighting system was designed with multiple light bulbs and switches, allowing me to manage the overall brightness of the room by turning lights on and off.

The room and hotel was very clean and I really liked the decor. The staff were efficient and helpful, giving us a map of the city with a brief overview of how to get into town etc. The neighbourhood was quiet which was great to get a good night's sleep. There were some great restaurants only a short walk away from the hotel and bus stops which take to Circular Quay / into the city within 3 - 10 mins walk.
I was surprised to find the bathroom had a completely glass wall, which even though there was a pattern on the glass meant that you could see through into the toilet and shower. The bathroom door was also glass and shut like a shower door, so you could hear bathroom noises as well. I was sharing the room with a relative from overseas so it was a bit awkward!
