Short walk to Royal north shore hospital and lift access from car park to rooms making it an excellent place to stay if you are travelling to Sydney for a procedure (or to visit family in the hospital). I stayed after having surgery to allow more time to heal before travelling back to my home in regional NSW. While I was in hospital it meant my husband could walk to and from the hotel to visit me without needing the car. It was quiet and comfortable with a nice little cafe/restaurant. I saw other hospital patients in the lift with crutches and pillows. The staff didn’t batt an eyelid when I attended the cafe looking like I’d just come off a bunch of drugs (which I technically had). It was a nice stay even under the circumstances.

A microwave would have been handy. Fresh milk for tea and coffee would have been nice too, they just provided those tiny little plastic UHT milk pots. We didn’t ask for more milk though so can’t comment on how this would have been addressed if we’d raised it.

Comfortable beds, good linen & very nice toiletries. The desk layout was one of the main reasons we chose the Urban. Good shower pressure

The room was close to the lobby and noisy ( there is a door to the passageway that would add quietness but that we couldn’t close it. The reception staff were very nice and treated us with respect, however, the cafe staff were indifferent and we had to mostly serve ourselves. Food was very good though. Parking was an added expense. No shuttle to the station outside of work hours.

Everything was fine, clean and comfortable. I liked being able to control the temperature of the individual air conditioning as most hotels you can't really do this and, being from the tropics i hate cold! The other main point for me was the very close proximity to North Shore private and public hospitals as i had a sister there having major surgery and I am from interstate. And the lamb shanks are superb!!

The room was really spacious, had a desk for work trips, a large king bed and a small outside courtyard, as we were on the ground floor. Has a restaurant/cafe on the ground floor. Great location

Bathroom was small and it is right beside the Pacific Highway. Traffic wasn’t excessively noisy but you can hear the larger trucks/cars at times. The hospital is close by but ambulances didn’t put their sirens on.

location was impeccable - easy to get to city and back! the bed was beyond comfortable! we had a king room. bedding was also great! bathroom was simple, but had almost everything we needed. Fresh and actually LARGE new towels everyday! i love large towels, and these definitely met my expectations!

No soundproofing whatsoever. Could hear everything going on in the hallway. When the cleaners started their job in the morning, the vacuum got kind of annoying to hear from the next door. no toilet brush - seemed unusual thing to not have in a toilet :D paid parking - the accommodation was quite pricey and as a paid hotel guest you have to pay extra for parking. could be included in the price..

Room #407, very spacious, balcony, great view, tea/coffee (nespresso machine !) King bed was extremely comfortable, great pillows, Large bathroom with shower & a bath, nice toiletries , thick white towels. There is a good restaurant for breakfast/Lunch/dinner ( we didn't eat, the menu read well - plenty of choices) we had a late afternoon drink This was an overnight stay and have rebooked - over the last year we have had to be in Sydney for many appointments and have stayed at a number of serviced apartments & Hotels, but "Hotel Urban" is outstanding (10/10) I highly recommend this place !!

The place was comfy, it's in a great location, has a nice view if you get the view side and all personnel was always kind

I used the Hotel a few times already and what we don't enjoy is the repeating signing in at the reception for check-in. In other hotels, I have the option to create a profile with already all setup and just book =, say hi, show ID and heading to the lift :) Not a huge problem but it could be a little faster there.

Location on main road BUT room was quiet. First terrace room had a hum (think from air conditioning units) but staff were quick and obliging about moving rooms. Next room was a balcony room. Super quiet. The restaurant was amazing. Perfect atmosphere. A beautiful water feature, modern decor, very leafy, fresh and green. Meals were wonderful. Oh my the Pannacotta was perfect!

I didn’t like giving up the terrace room. It was large and had a beautiful outlook but my husband would not have slept with the mechanical hum. Staff were happy to move us.

On main road with sirens … oh and I could have got the room for $210 had I booked with them directly as the price they charge for cancer treatment patients … so $210 would have suited better as I travelled from regional area for cancer treatment sooooo thanks for the $279 room that didn’t even get me free breakfast .. I’ve booked with them directly for next treatment as won’t use you again

Close to where I needed . It’s clean . Tip - Beds are better and it’s quieter opp side to highway .

Room was hot on arrival maybe air con could go on when you have guests staying in that room especially hot days with full sun in room . You have to have a room the opposite side to highway learnt this after several trips wish I knew before Housekeeping are a bit noisey early around your room . No chair on the balcony so didn’t use
