Very nice accommodation, in a big old house with a lot of history. Its located in a very quiet area but close to the center of Sydney nonetheless (about 50min walking). I really liked the facilities and the whole house was taken care of and well renovated. The private room (15) was great with air condition, tv, towels, etc. free self serve stuff for breakfast in yhe refrigerator and kitchen area downstairs. The place is like a hostel, but much better quality and a bit fancier.

Only counterpart is there does not seem to be anyone present at reception at any time… in case you have any doubts or questions there won’t be any help available on site.

Lovely old building renovated inside. Great facilities, and very quiet rooms despite the number of visitors. Well-stocked shared kitchen for meal preparation. Comfortable shared spaces. Easy access on check-in and throughout stay. Friendly staff members. Convenient access to/from public transport and local cafes/supermarkets. Great value for money in a beautiful, safe, and quiet area of Sydney. Thank you for a lovely stay, and we intend to return!!

Shared toilets were a little cramped upstairs, but adequate. Option for more than 1 key (if more than 1 guest staying) would be helpful, but certainly not a deal-breaker.

This is a beautiful character home in one of the most desirable neighbourhoods. Bathrooms are shared, although generally there were no issues with access & is still far superior to the usual "backpacker' style & facilities. Breakfast is basic but a welcome addition to the experience. A thoughtful addition is the excellent range of teas, 2 different toast options & provision of alternative milks. A team of people clean daily & generally, everything is spotless. There is also a washing machine & dryer (additional fee) & an iron & ironing board available- which again, are very welcome & necessary. Highly recommended at this price point.

Washer & dryer requires coins to operate, although staff were happy to provide small amounts of change, during their daily visits. The accommodation does not have regular reception hours, although someone is available by phone, if needed

Very cosy, yet not a cramped feeling in the studio. Still enough space to comfortably move about. Very easy check in/ check out process. The nature of the lodge feels very homey, unlike a hotel that follows stricter procedures. Nice facilities, good air conditioning and included breakfast was very helpful during our stay.

The shower head is slightly loose, doesn't stay upright unless water is on. Pull out sofa was quite hard and seemed to have a beam sticking up in the middle of it. Otherwise, we had no issues with the property.

Nice location in a lovely area with some cafes, the room was nice and great to have a well stocked kitchen to cool with, the shared bathrooms are good but the showers leak all over the floor

We booked this property as we wanted somewhere close to city centre with parking. It turns out they only have a few spaces and it's a crazy price at $30 a day. The on street parking is 2 hr max 9:30 - 5:30 Mon -fri so luckily we were away all day Friday and stayed over the weekend so as long as you stay over the weekend it's ok otherwise parking is an issue

-well maintained accommodation -self check-in was easy and convenient -The room and facilities were very clean. Housekeeping does a great job! -mature guests that clean up after themselves in the common area (sharing kitchen and bathroom was not an issue as there are not that many rooms and people to share with and everything was left clean) -We barely saw other people and it was so nice and quiet! -We really liked the location as well: A quiet area of Sydney, but the bus stops around the corner and it's a short ride to the CBD -Common area looks very cosy! -AC worked well! -We slept really well!

The room was very small; there was not a lot of space to put our 2 suitcases away. But it was still a nice room! We never saw anyone at reception but we were there for NYE. We personally didn't have an issue with it and wouldn't consider it necessary, but if guests had a problem, they would have to call someone.

This is beautiful and quiet suburb, comfortable place. We love how it designed. Lovely historical photos on the wall. We were staying there 5 years ago and now - both time very satisfied! That is awesome to have an access to the kitchen! Dalziel Lodge contains everything you need for independent stay in Sydney. Very easy to use public transport from the spot.

The only one thing I would improve there - it is taste of local water))). And a newer pots in the kitchen.

The building and gardens were beautiful and very well kept. Nice and quiet. The ability to book parking. Very clean facilities. We loved the outdoor patio seating, it was a great touch. Good location near to north Sydney station and some lovely cafes in walking distance.

There's not much that I didn't like to be honest. The room was a little small, would have been nice to have a seat in the room. The side of the bed is against the wall so it was a little uncomfortable for two people.

The house itself is a beautiful place. It was cozy and homey. They have a huge lounge, dining, kitchen and garden area. The check-in was smooth as they have safebox for the key if you arrive late.

The ground floor toilet was dirty. Our bedsheet looks like it wasn't change because there still some hairs that weren't ours.

The place is extremely clean and cozy and has the charm of an old urban mansion. Extremely quiet in the night (nearly unachievable in the city this size). Shared facilities are SO clean - as if they are not even really shared! Excellent choice of cafes nearby. Very reasonable walk to North Sydney station - easy to get around. (If you don't feel like riding trains after partying, the late afternoon Uber from CBD was less than 20 dollars.) I absolutely would love to stay again.

Nothing that I'd worry about too much.
