Beautiful clean, spacious, non-fuss rooms and accommodation. Ease of parking and check-in and out. The food for breakfast was sufficient. The grounds were quiet and peaceful, close to amenities. Daily Mass in the Chapel.

One small milk container was not enough milk for the 24 hours before the next service. I went out and bought milk. In the information booklet, it said if you do not wish your room to be serviced place a do not disturb sign on the door. I put out a Do Not Disturb door hanger in the morning because I did not want the room serviced. I was grateful for the service, however, I wanted to save Mary McKillop Place time, effort and money. The door hanger was removed and the tea area was refreshed. There was no information about where to go to local dining areas or much tourist information. There was no crucifix in the room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mary MacKillop Place, and overall, my experience was quite positive. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their friendly and welcoming demeanor. From the moment I arrived, I felt well taken care of and valued as a guest. One of the things that stood out to me during my stay was the cleanliness of the room. It was immaculate, and I felt very comfortable and at ease knowing that the staff took great care in ensuring the room was well maintained. In terms of location, I found Mary MacKillop Place to be in a convenient and desirable spot. It was easy to get to and within walking distance of many local attractions and amenities.

I do believe that there are some small improvements that could be made to enhance the overall quality of the hotel. For instance, it would be great to see a complimentary bottle of water included in the room, as well as an increase in the amount of shampoo and conditioner provided in the bathroom. Additionally, while the breakfast offered at the hotel was good, I did feel that there was room for improvement in terms of the selection. It would be great to see more options for hot breakfast items.

The room was spacious and luxurious, and very quiet. The bathroom was brilliant, and the "double" bed I shared with my granddaughter was the widest bed we'd ever seen! Lovely views from the windows.

The breakfast buffet in the dining room was very generous, but there were no bacon or eggs, and the touch screen coffee machine was a bit woeful. However, not a problem with so many eateries almost on the doorstep. North Sydney is steep, so if coming by train take all the escalators to the very top at Greenwood and exit at the highway. It's a quick step from there to MMP.

Extremely good accommodation; clean, spacious, quiet, very comfortable bed. Room had kettle, iron, ironing board, tea, coffee and biscuits. A short walk to North Sydney Station and bus stop and North Sydney business district. Breakfast was above average. No cooked food but a good range of cereals plus both fresh fruit and fruit in syrup. Choice of bread with toaster available and a variety of spreads. Coffee machine and tea bags on offer. I only stayed for one night but thought that storage might be a bit scant for a longer visit.

The property has recently been built, the location was exceptional and the parking under the building was great (extra cost $20) but well worth it. But booking is essential. The bed was very comfortable, the room had a beaut view overlooking the old buildings which had been used by Mary Mackillop, the old buildings and the church also the museum and a coffee shop and gift shop are open early, and buildings can be viewed at certain times. The area was quiet the cost was fantastic. Plus, you had the added bonus of a lovely continental brekky, included in the price with choice of breads, cereal yogurt and pancakes. O we also had windows on or floor that opened, so enjoyed the gentle breeze instead of A/C. After speaking to one of the Directors (one of the sisters of Saint Josephs) it appears everything has been eco-friendly thought of when this build was done. 10 out of 10 well done. We would certainly stay again. This is a gem of a place to stay if going to North Sydney and the view towards the Opera House and Sydney harbour is only a short drive away to the ferry terminal.

Trying to locate the accommodation, down a one-way street and next to Shore School, was ok, but the entrance can be obscured by parking vehicles and trees once you find the black gates your home and hosed, if you miss the gates, it's a bit tricky getting back to the location, but once mastered, and you gain access into the property it all very good indeed. Very secure.

I can’t believe what a gem this place is. The room, staff and breakfast were wonderful. the grounds are groomed and beautiful. The location is excellent. just a short walk to everything marvellous. We were here to attend the Mater hospital which was an easy 4 minute drive. A real eye for detail has gone into this 1st rate accommodation. Thankyou Mary MacKillop Place. We will be back!!!! I almost forgot to add that having parking on the premises was the cherry on top.

Absolutely nothing is wrong with this accommodation

Very good room. Excellent breakfast with plenty of variety. Helpful reception staff.

We travelled by train from the country and were dropped off by a taxi near the chapel but all the gates were locked. We were at the wrong location to get in but there were no signs to tell us where to go. Fortunately a resident came along and let us in. Suggest a sign be put on one of the wrought iron gates to give directions. Also, as there was no dinner available on site I suggest a map in the room showing the location of local places including for meals, shops and the railway

The location was perfect for our visit to the Ensemble Theatre at Kirribilli. We elected to use taxis to and from, and Reception gave us the taxi telephone number. Worked extremely well. Substantial continental breakfast was included in a bright and happy room, and the actual accommodation was yet another clean and comfortable room with ensuite and all the usual amenities. Parking was provided on site for a small additional fee. Enjoyed the experience!

Nothing!

brand new, modern and very clean. it’s kept very simple, no fluffy extras like conditioner or moisturiser (BYO). Breakfast is very basic and you need to get in early…they don’t seem to top it up. if arriving by car head up William Street (it’s one way), at no. 80 there’s a tall black gate/fence that looks locked but pushes open during the day. There’s usually parks outside to pull up. Reception is one floor up. The car park has good sized parks for 4WD’s. This is a good value accommodation and we’ll be back!

Everything about this place was great, seems like a new build, easy access though I should have read more on finding the front door as I was expecting it to look more like a hotel but it is more discreet. Staff were great in helping me over the phone to confirm I was looking at the entry!!! Room is generous, the facilities were excellent. AND especially liked that the breakfast had gluten free options (yes more than one!) Everything was beautifully presented.
