Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous- nothing was too much trouble. Room was cosy and bed comfortable. Very clean and room serviced impeccably each day. Great location with plenty of places to eat close by, lots of places to walk to and the bus practically outside the door for easy travels around Sydney. Complementary pastries and fruit each morning was much appreciated.

Room was a little cosier than I usually like - only option to sit was the bed or straight backed chair - an armchair would have been great (although I’m not sure if it would have fit in the room). Also windows were thick glass tiles so you couldn’t see out at all - slightly claustrophobic). Neither of these negatives were deal breakers though and I would probably stay there again.

I have stayed at 11 different hotels in Australia on this journey, and out of those this has been my favorite so far. It's classy and clean with very professional staff, yet it has that "homey" feeling. And even though it's right where there's a lot of traffic, once you're inside you don't hear anything but silence. The detail that I loved the most, that most hotels miss out on was this: A magnifying mirror in the bathroom and good light! I appreciate that so much. The bed was comfortable, the Wifi was fast and steady, the shower was big (two showers, a waterfall type of shower and a regular) the AC was easy to operate, plenty of TV channels, a modern clock with two USB chargers on the bedside (if only ALL hotels had this!) two bottles of cold water in the fridge and some small goodies, fruit and biscuits available for free in the little kitchen by the front desk... One morning I asked the guy at the front desk if he knew what the weather was like today. He actually got up and went outside to find out for me! How is THAT for great service! I loved this place. Every city needs its own little Mrs Banks Hotel.

Best location when it comes to seeing a show/concert at Allianz Stadium. Only a 5 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking for the weekend was not too bad as you had to park on the streets.

We took rooms up the top(4th) floor cause we thought there might be a better view. But to our surprise the window was glazed and although it let lots of light in you cannot see anything outside. But as we weren’t there for long we didn’t mind too much. Unfortunately too when the concert finished it was around 11:30 pm and hardly any eateries or restaurants were open in the area around the hotel to get something to eat. We had to go to bed hungry.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, I usually do a quick check of all the essential areas and it was pristine. I quite liked the water refill station that helped us save on buying bottled water, very convenient! Overall the rooms was super comfortable.

I would suggest doing a quick check of the carpets and doing a more thorough vacuum as I noticed some crumbs but that’s it. We also had a small issue of our room keys being also given to another guest but that was resolved quite quickly and with grace, thank you to Dylan for giving us a personal apology.

Great location with an individual air about the property- excellent interaction from the small team who took an interest in our enjoyment.

Slightly confused by the small bar/breakfast area downstairs. Generally available? No general information available about the hotel in room. But this did NOT detract from our overall enjoyment and experience.

Everything was wonderful - my only constructive feedback relates to the lighting in our room. Coffee and tea facilities in room were great. Love that you provide healthy brekky in foyer area downstairs.

The lighting in our twin room was such that you couldn’t see what your make-up was like when putting it on. Not ideal if you wear make-up which many of us do. A shelf or something to put your stuff on in the bathroom would also enhance the experience, rather than having to put your things on the floor. I personally like to be able to open a window in a hotel room - I think you could possibly open the bathroom window but I couldn’t work out how.

Dylan was an exceptional host recommended the most incredible local dining experiences but also ensuring our stay was exceptional. We felt very welcomed and cared for which is not an experience you have in larger hotels. Dylan actually made our entire stay in Sydney so much richer and we'll definitely return! The little touches like complimentary water, coffee, fruit and morning pastries was so amazing as well. The location is also incredible. What an experience. Thank you Dylan. xo

The stay was exceptional. The room was small but incredibly nice. The room was very clean. We didn't get a view but it didn't matter too much considering it was just going to be of oxford street. The staff members were so nice and kind. They offered free refreshments and free water refills. I really enjoyed it there and would definitely stay again!

Loved the location - awesome neighbourhood in itself but buses leave every 5 mins right outside the hotel, so very easy to get to other places. Service was outstanding - such a friendly vibe and staff were full of recommendations for where to eat and all were spot-on (best meal we had all stay was at Il Baretto, just a 1 minute walk away). The rooms were spotless, quiet and had a ledge to lay out open suitcases, which was so handy.

The only downside was the bed rolled in the middle a bit, and my personal preference is a firmer mattress.
