The lift was questionable, big bang and old

The rooms are super fresh & minimal. However, the location was the highlight for us being close to so many incredible restaurants, the junction and neighbourhoods like Surry hills. We found it so easy to get around via the bus (we went all the way to manly and it only took 45 minutes) also great amenities including a super cute cafe/bar below and pool area.

From our personal experience I would say not the most amazing choice for young families due to the room we booked being so petite and the difficulty lugging additional items like prams etc up stairs but a great option if all you’re planning on doing is using your hotel for sleeping or a couple.

Pre check-in service with CJ was helpful. Check in staff were great. Location is good for proximity to Oxford St. Room decor is good. Shower water pressure is great. Good to have mini fridge but only had small capsules of long life milk in them. Pool looked nice but didn’t use it as there was a function on. Busby’s was nice for breakfast. Good coffee. All staff were helpful and friendly. Courtyard room was pretty quiet. Nice robes and products. No phone charger in room. But reception staff provided one when requested.

Room is very small. The AC isn’t very strong or powerful especially on a humid day. I kept hitting my leg on the bed frame. They look good but are not very practical.

Oxford House is in a class of its own. Nestled amongst the ever popular Oxford street, you are spoiled for choice with cafes, bars and night happenings. The staff were welcoming and offered their services above what many other hotels would. This was a very well received. The room itself (Oxford Deluxe) had a balcony that overlooked Oxford street. Perfect size room. Free wifi was a great perk. We had a few issues with room service one night however they were fast to rectify the issue and in true Oxford House style, exceeded our expectation with how they managed to keep us happy. Thank you to all staff - your customer service and pride sets you apart. My wife and I will be back!

nicely styled, very clean, comfortable. i appreciate the windows could open and i could sleep without airconditioning. staff super friendly.

the hotel should make some sustainability and ethical decision to supply toilet papaer and tissues from a business with purpose like who gives a crap or yarn'n. its a simple choice to make that can make a big impact and the finacial costs are very compeitive with current supplier that the hotel uses.

The room was so nice and neat with super cosy lighting at night! I really liked the decor of the whole hotel and it was walking distance to some really cool areas.

I wasn't able to secure a car park at the hotel and was told by staff to park at the Hospital nearby but I wasn't made aware of the price for the car park. It ended up being $130 for the night which took away from the overall excellent experience. So booking a carpark in advance is a must!

The location was really perfect for access to UNSW Paddington campus. Also along the buslines to transfer to other areas easily. The staff were excellent - especially CJ!

The cleaning products had a very strong smell which gave my allergies a reaction. Easily changed to a non-scented cleaner. Would be great having a larger rubbish bin as I had a lot of trash and the bin was always overflowing

Oxford House is in a great location, close to plenty of restaurants/bars and shopping and super easy to get into the city. The rooms were clean and styled nicely, very modern and comfortable. The pool area looked amazing but the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to experience it.

Nothing we loved everything. Just recommend maybe a cafe doing breakfast/good coffee for guests in the pool courtyard would be great.

The designers knew what they were doing with this hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed in a palm-springs vibe that feels classy and fresh. The bar area felt young and upbeat, mostly a result of the engaging staff which made it a great place for a drink and snack before a night out.

The bathrooms are quite small but by no means unreasonable, particularly as they're of high quality. The pool area is on the smaller side but we had no issues finding space on a hot and busy day.

Great location, pool and bar/restaurant area was nice and well run, staff super attentive. Rooms were small but clean, flexible with check in and check out times.

Air con didn’t work very well - was set to full fan and 18 degrees but we were still very hot at night. We asked them to look at this, and they probably did but didn’t make any difference. Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable.
