After a very long long haul flight, we were so glad to have a tasty dinner at the bar and get some sleep in our family room - it was worth the extra I paid for an upgrade. The beds were soooo comfy, we didn't want to leave them the following morning! Thanks to the lovely attendant at breakfast who explained the fine art of making a poached egg to my daughter :). Would recommend the hotel to other folks wanting to stay a night after a long flight before travelling on (in our case, back to Newcastle the next day).

My only constructive feedback would be concerning the Sydney Super Shuttle we used to get to the hotel from the airport; didn't realise the Novotel would be the last stop on a 40 minute round trip. Had we known that we would have taken a taxi for the same price and a quarter of the time! Might be worth a mention on the website or when replying to customer inquiries. (I'm aware for customers going TO the airport it's ideal :) ).

Staff who checked-in our family is very excellent service. She is very helpful, friendly and kind assistance (We forgot to ask her name). We are happy with all your staff especially Front Desk staff. The concierge is very nice as well. We have a good information about your city, country..... from the Concierge staff (The lady who assist our luggage - She is Vietnamese but very professional and helpful). Thank you very much for your best service and we will be back soon.

Friendly staff, early check in, was not expecting that, and not familiar to the area allowed me time to settle in before an afternoon stroll - so thank you very much much appreciated.

Air con was set on 23 degrees in my room I tried to reset it but it was locked so I had to use the fan to keep the room cool and it was NOISY! A evening drink at the Marke bar. A staff member did not put his meal down to serve us, instead he kept eating while serving us ( was quite gross) & unprofessional.

The location for an early morning flight was good. You can't walk to the airport but there is a good shuttle bus service which only takes about 10 minutes. We arrived quite late but were able to have a meal in the bar. The food and service were great, especially the guys on the bar. The room was clean and functional. We left early in the morning so no time to test the facilities.

No overhead lighting. This might be quite romantic but when you are trying to find something in your suitcase or the safe it is very hard to see. My pet hate, and it seems to apply to most hotels, is only 1 luggage rack. What do they think the 2nd person does with their bag? Obvioulsy someone has their bag on the floor, which is difficult as you get older.

For the most part the hotel was great. However just a few points I’d mention. - Level 9 executive rooms are no different than a Deluxe kind room. - the heating in the room was not great. - the bathrooms could do with a much better upgrade or like improvement. - sound proof rooms aren’t exactly sound proof. Other than this it was great

This was a single night stay before an early flight next morning. Location was great - 10 minutes from SYD airport. Bed was very comfortable (King Room) and the place was clean. An unexpected bonus was the excellent meal in Marke restaurant downstairs; we had the whole baked fish with side veggies. The fish was perfectly cooked and had been butterflied and filleted then placed back together. It's so rare to find that level of expertise - we were most surprised.

room was lovely - family room with my 2 daughters - clean and comfortable, easy access to the airport - we called a minibus to the airport which was quick and easy. We had our evening meal downstairs which was very busy so did take a while, the food was beautiful but they didn't miss you with the cost.

Nothing Everything was as expected and appreciated. We probably would order room service next time as there was a long delay in being served in the resturant.

so easy to get to and park and then get to the international airport and good value for money - definitely need a family room when you have 2 adults and 2 adult children - well 16 and 23 yrs rather than a room with 2 queen beds

The family room would have been much more comfortable - too squashy in a room with just 2 queen beds apart from that, all was fantastic - the staff are why I will come back to this motel again

Easy access for car parking. Easy walk to international terminal for flight drop off Food at the bar was great, I did not have to go out looking for dinner after our low drive.

I had the wrong pass when I went to leave the carpark which meant I had to reverse, repark my car and race into reception to fix which wasn't ideal.

We booked this hotel because it made the trip to the international airport via shuttle (5 mins) very convenient. I was very happy with how quickly we got checked in. The live music and the bars were a great way for my family and I to relax and enjoy the remainder of the night before turning in to sleep. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful overall. Also, there is a Woolworths 8 minute walk away for any late night items.

Food and drinks were a little bit pricey.
