Basic small room, double bed and single. Comfortable enough, nothing flash. But at the price and location didn't matter. We were there only to sleep really. A short walk to Summer Hill railway station and there are lots of good restaurants to eat. Up the road from the motel there are other places to eat, supermarkets, and a bottle shop. Bus stop directly outside. It was perfect to dump our stuff and do what we had to do during the day. Absolutely would stay there again.

Bit grimy. Check your kettle before use ours had gunk in it. Bit loud as well from TVs. Probably because the TVs were fixed to the wall by metal brackets helping the wall transmit the noise.

Nice dry towels every day. Convenience to public transport, breakfast venue and free ample parking. Ease of getting into and out of Sydney via Parramatta Road. Close to family residence, being the reason for our visit.

Some concern with the shower floor being a bit slippery as my husband is a bit unsteady on his feet. He put an old towel we had in the car on the floor when he showered. It would be good to have a non slip mat to use in the shower.

We had two rooms for 5 adults visiting Sydney for a concert at Sydney Olympic Park. We liked that the hotel staff called to confirm our arrival time. The hotel was easy to find and access from Liverpool Road by car. Friendly reception staff member. Plenty of parking onsite. Rooms clean. 10 minute walk to Ashfield Train Station. From Ashfield station to Olympic Park it was only a couple of stops and one change. Check out was easy at 10am. Overall good stay at a good price. Will use again for future Sydney concert or sporting event trips. Thanks

If you want somewhere out of the centre but able to get there in 20 mins, then this is the place. Bus stop just outside goes straight to Central, or 10 mins walk to Ashfield (for supermarkets, restaurants and station), or Summer Hill (for restaurants and station). Rooms are clean. Kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, iron + board, hairdryer all available. Shower was good.

The motel room is extremely tired looking, and in desperate need of a refurb throughout.The bathroom tap diffuser was broken and fell apart. Carpet needed replacing or a good valet. The front door had gaps so there can be some noise from the road or aircraft taking off. That being said, there was not a lot of noise from elsewhere, although the walls are somewhat thin. There were two cups, glasses, and s mall bowls, but no other crockery and no cutlery whatsoever.

It was clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and prompt. Beds are very comfy too and it has all the basic facilities that you can expect to make it a comfortable stay :) Price is also reasonable.

The location was abit further than we liked, though it was reachable by bus (the stop is just outside the motel but sometimes the timing/transfers are not as convenient). We walked 13 minutes or so from the station instead. If you have a hired car though, that would be a different story as the placement of the motel is good near-ish the city and near Ashfield/Burwood which has plenty to do.

This is budget accommodation, and unlike most budget accommodation almost everything was at a decent standard. The room was relatively large, it was CLEAN, the bathroom OK. Room had all the essentials (blankets, fridge, microwave, kettle, iron, desk, useable powerpoints). Very little train/traffic noise. Check in open till 11pm. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Pillows terrible; no support for your neck. Half rooms are upstairs, no lift etc (it's an old-fashioned motel!). Not a problem for me, but would be for some and should be made clear. There is nothing actually nice about the room; but that's not what you expect in this kind of accommodation. Good train/bus services 10 mins walk away.

The location was easy to find! Was about 15 minutes from the Ashfield train station. We were delayed on the tarmac for 30 minutes which put my friend and I out a bit for our arrival at the hotel, but they were understanding when we called to let them know that we would be a few minutes late. The bed was super comfy as well! Definitely want to try and stay here again the next time I find myself in Sydney 😁

there were no dinner plates in the kitchen. Should keep atleast 2 dinner plates per room.

Location is convenient to Ashfield or Summer Hill (bit closer) stations and Ashfield shopping centre. All the room facilities and comforts were in place and all those I used worked. I enjoyed the TV while laying on the bed watching the pleasing election results !

Noticeable was the traffic noise at night on Liverpool Road but my room was close to the front of the complex so this is to be expected. On two nights my sleep was disrupted by noise from other guests, one of whom I'm guessing may be a 'long term' or 'live in' You can pick them easily by their behavior. These pests can be bad for business and are the reason I stopped staying at another location I had LONG been using in Burwood and came to Westside.

the free parking was great, our room had a microwave and a fridge which was very useful with the kids. The wifi worked well as well. Location of the motor inn too was great as it was very close to train stations which made our sydney sightseeing trip very comfortable.

the only thing was the sheets on the beds had some spots on them and didnt appear hygenic (so if you can carry your own layer above like we had , it wont bother you as much). Also the floor of the room was sticky (so keep your shoes on)
