Australian Homestead Motor Lodge

Bed was very comfortable, partner and I are tall and we had heaps of extra room. Bathroom area quite large, shower awesome plenty of hot water, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel supplied. Two large chairs at the desk area in the room, plus another two smaller chairs and small table in corner of room. I found these chairs small to sit in.

I asked about shower rail when making the booking and there are none. Maybe a couple of rooms could be fitted with these. I have trouble with my balance and due to lower back problems am unable to stand for very long without support. I used the shelf in the shower to hang onto.

Outstanding service from the reception. Friendly, polite, and genuine. The rooms we stayed in have recently been refurbished, and it was like brand new on the inside. We had room 1 (2 beds) and room 7 (1 bed), and both had large TVs. The bathrooms were spotless. Both rooms had a large rainfall type showerhead with good water pressure. The grounds have large green grass areas. My son was upset he didn't bring a soccer ball to kick around!

The plumbing was in the ceiling, and it was quite noticeable when other rooms were having showers. We thought at first someone had just been in the room and flushed the toilet.

I made some mistakes with my bookings and the motel would have been perfectly entitled to just charge me for the 2 nights. Instead..... they went out of their way to help me out and accommodate my needs and I really appreciated this. The pet room was comfortable and recently renovated. Although the morel was beside the Sturt Highway with interstate trucks going down it all night, I barely heard the traffic. The motel is about 5 - 10 mins drive from Wagga's town centre and parking here is no issue. I can see myself staying here again to be honest.

The motel is located about 5-10 mins drive out of Wagga. This could be bothersome for some people.

Large, clean room and super comfy bed. Microwave and plates, cutlery, dishwashing liquid and teatowel provided as well as Kettle, toaster and generous milk allowance. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. A bit outside of town but an easy drive to Wagga. It was late Autumn and chilly overnight, but the room was fine and good bedding for keeping us snug. Lots of green space at the back of the rooms - which had back doors - of you had kids who needed a run around.

I had difficulty accessing WiFi both nights we were there - 2 different rooms. We could hear some muffled traffic noise, especially on the weeknightv we stayed. It did disturb our sleep a bit, but the motel in on the main road. To be expected.

I like everything about this accommodation from the cleaness of the room, the size of the room, the shower and spa bath even I had no chance to use the bath to the restaurant the stuff there were amazing and the food exceeded my expectation both dinner and breakfast (breakfast was too good) I love big backyard with animals to watch and take photos and videos. The sun rise was amazing as well. All were perfect and highly recommended.

Only one tiny thing that bothered me was the room was shakened whenever the train or trucks? went pass by.

When we arrived at Aust Homestead we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. We stayed 2 separate nights in different rooms. Each was comfortable, neat and clean. The weather was chilly but the aircon quickly warmed things up. The rooms had kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave plus plates, cutlery and washing up things. We found the beds very comfortable with enough bedding to keep warm. Wagga was about a 5 min drive away but we didn't find that a problem.

Despite the motel being set back from the main road, there was some truck noise dieting the night - not loud but enough to disturb sleeping at times. I had trouble with the free WiFi both times connecting once after some fiddling around but completely failing the other time.

Easy checking upgraded free to king room as we decided to stay 2 nights could not fault this place exceptionally clean huge room with full size ensuite bathroom great hot water very comfy bed huge walmounted TV air-conditioner extremely quite highly recommend this hotel everything you need and more thankyou for your hospitality will return next time we pass threw wagga wagga there is a 24/7 Cafe just down the road terrific food full size breakfast with coffee for just $14 cooked to perfection thanks for the recommendation Jo at reception Steve said thanks for the beer just what he needed

Nothing fabulous place

Excellent customer service, location and room. Arrived to a preheated room which was spacious and clean. Great facilities, tea/coffee/microwave/kettle, soaps/shower caps (which was a lovely surprise)/tv in each separate room (double/single)/large bathroom with spa and shower. Some damaged render on bedroom wall. Service everyday at no extra cost - beds made and soaps/towels replenished. Rooms layed out on grounds with plenty of space. Overall excellent stay all round. Will be back to stay again!

Oh my gosh where to start... We arrived to a super friendly welcome, we had been traveling a long way and the owner offered us a drink while he and my fiance had a chat about your 55 Chevy we were traveling in. The pool was exactly what we needed that night, so refreshing. We were able to get uber eats delivered to our door, so helpful when your exhausted. Our room had air-conditioning and a large sealing fan. I cannot even describe how happy I was about that. The room was large and beautiful. The bathroom was modern and clean. We had a decent sized mini fridge and toaster and microwave etc Everything we needed. We were in a hurry to leave in the morning and my fiance accidentally left his very exspensive and NEW watch behind, which the owners are going to ship to our home, we are very grateful. If we ever come out this way again, we will be back

My only gripe is that the tv kept constantly updating its self so we had to watch our phones.

Such friendly staff, straightforward booking and check-in process. This was our second time staying on our way driving Melb to Sydney and it's nicely located and priced well. The pool is basic but great fun for kids and the room is comfortable and a good size.

I always find it hard to get the temp right in hotel rooms; the aircon and fan were great but it's always hard to get the balance right when you can't keep the windows open. Only bc we had our baby with us so temperature control is more of an issue. A cheat sheet would be amazing. But overall great.
