Great location. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help. Room was better than expected, 2 seperate area's bedroom and kitchenette which also had a sofa and kitchen table with 4 chairs. Coffee machine, small fridge which probably could have had some milk for the coffee however they did have an area in the corridor which had any additional items such as milk or sugar available. The meals in the pub were huge and delicious. Will be going back again.

There was a function being held on the floor below which did have loud music thumping however it didn't pose too much of a problem getting to sleep. As it was a Saturday night we stayed this was pretty much expected. I would say it would be pretty quiet during a week night stay

When we arrived around 8pm we where still met with a professional attitude and greeting, The check in process was made simple and straight forward, when the staff noticed my wife was pregnant the let us know that the room we booked did not have a private bathroom, which i would have know if I had read the room booking correctly instead of glancing over it, and offered to upgrade us to a room with an en-suite, which my wife definitely needed. The beds where so comfortable that we had the best sleep we have had all week, we fully considered asking where they got the mattress just so we could get one for home. the food and the services was amazing, the food is definitely top notch and is rather well priced

Great pub with great facilities. Gaming room is where it should be. Unobtrusive and not in your face. Great meal options and backed up on the plate. I liked the different areas of the pub catered for verying tastes. The corporates seemed to love the privacy of the restaurant, the name escapes me. The bar, the laneway are all good for catering to peoples needs.

The accommodation is fair. As I understand it, the new owners are renovating the rooms within budget. Each floor needs new bathrooms and toilet facilities. Toilets are tiny and showers are beyond their years. I am looking forward to seeing the pub again when its returning to it former glory. The accommodation is an important part of the successful future of this pub. Don't rely on gaming to make your pub a destination.

Romanos is transitioning from a pub to a destination. with the waterfront park 2 minutes walk down the road families would be remiss if not to visit overnight

absolutely nothin. the beds are super comfortable and their staff are usually willing to assist in whatever needs you might have. They are very lucky to have some staff to go above and beyond to make sure you’re stay is as comfortable as possible. they allowed me to reschedule last minute due to father being very unwell ( ex wallabies player) though he might be. This local institution is definitely the n the up and up. You may need to double check orders for the kitchen. i dinned with a VIP and he wasn’t impressed our order had been closed once kids meal was delivered. I’m sure Matt and Loz are on to that now though.

The staff staff was so supportive as I had travelled for an interview in this town. They adapted my booking to suit me no extra cost. The staff were informative they where helpful Leanne was awesome she printed if some doc's that I needed for an interview. No extra charge. During my whole stay all staff housekeeping, bar, staff and of course Leanne were so encouraging. This wasn't an easy road I was travelling but good people need to be recognised.

When booking the rooms were not very well explained and with a baby having bottles having to get up in the middle of the night to walk to a coffee station was not great. Also had to change rooms due to toiletry needs and room didn’t have a bathroom which I didn’t think was explained well when booking room however staff was amazing when it came to helping out and helping us upgrade our room

Bed was comfy, room was warmed by an air-con, TV was well positioned. Dinner was the best steaks we have tasted in a long time. They were cooked to perfection. The beers were cold and great. The wine selection was worthy of some more upmarket restaurants.

It is a shame that there is no tea/coffee facilities. Even to set up on the mezzanine on each floor. The bathrooms are separate male and female and blinking cold! Windows were open to dry the steam, to no avail. Toilet cubicle was quite small and sink was in a little need of fixing. But hey, it is rustic and matches the decor of the place. Shower cubicles could have hooks and shelf for toiletries, clothes and towel.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. It was a spur of the moment, very last-minute booking, we arrived at around 8.15 and the lovely staff helped us get settled with enough time to order dinner before the kitchen shut. The food was delicious ,hot and great value for money. The room was clean and probably the best hotel bed I've slept in for a while. It was very quiet considering it's attached to a pub.

In the middle of town which was convenient, plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. Had a drink in the bar downstairs and the staff were friendly, all staff pleasant to deal with. Got there too late to have dinner so unable to comment on the food.

The internet wasn't working, there was some problem and these things happen. The water bottle beside the bed had been opened and drunk out of and there was somebody's left over icecream or milkshake in the fridge. They don't provide a kettle and tea/coffee which is a bit rough in the morning as they don't do breakfast either, though there are cafe's nearby.

Room clean, comfortable bed, complimentary water. Staff helpful, polite, attentive. Great food.

Tea n coffee was not easy to locate. Wasn't able to get one when there. 1st time, no water. Next, no milk and last effort, no tea As well there was a drunken argument in hallway which made me a little uncomfortable when needing to use bathroom. .
