The room was clean and comfortavke, most staff were really nice and went out of our way to see how our stay was going, what we were upto and if we needed anything.

A couple of the bar staff one made me feel like it was an inconvenience to help me get change. But I felt that this was due to it being busy so I could forgive that. The other bartender was complaining to the customers about the inconvenience of kids in the hotel and how noisy it was because of the kids. Myself and my son heard this and felt like we were an inconvenience

There was no breakfast facility however the overall staff was very good very clean safe & ALL the staff were helpful & courteous thank you Jess who had many tasks over the Christmas break & did it all with a great smile 😃

Cobwebs over toilet dust build up over exhaust fans in showers windows sills over beds very dusty need attention however bed linen super clean & bed very comfy will stay again in Romano's minor issues to be dealt with

I attended the venue for a private function that was being held there during the evening, and then decided to stay the night for ease and convenience. The hotel itself is lovely, a mix of history and modern improvements. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and facilities. It was clean, had tea making facilities with milk provided, and the modern shower was great after a long and busy day! The room was absolutely soundproof, and although when I went to bed I knew there was live music, and many, many people in the bar areas downstairs, I could not hear a sound in the room. The staff were exceptionally friendly at the event, and when checking in and out. There is informal parking behind the hotel which was easy to access and safe. The location is perfect, it’s a very easy to walk to the beautiful riverside area, the town centre, and lovely park that is in the centre of the Main Street. The price was of the room was very reasonable, I could not recommend this property more highly.

Great location. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help. Room was better than expected, 2 seperate area's bedroom and kitchenette which also had a sofa and kitchen table with 4 chairs. Coffee machine, small fridge which probably could have had some milk for the coffee however they did have an area in the corridor which had any additional items such as milk or sugar available. The meals in the pub were huge and delicious. Will be going back again.

There was a function being held on the floor below which did have loud music thumping however it didn't pose too much of a problem getting to sleep. As it was a Saturday night we stayed this was pretty much expected. I would say it would be pretty quiet during a week night stay

Didn’t have breakfast. A 4:45am had all guest on the street until we were allowed back in our rooms. I choose to check out earlier rather than try for another hour or two of sleep. I had a light dinner of prawn dumplings which was excellent. My room was a newly renovated suite so was above expectations being a same day booking. Modern bathroom and felt new

Being wakened up 4:45am and evacuating due to a fire alarm...

When we arrived around 8pm we where still met with a professional attitude and greeting, The check in process was made simple and straight forward, when the staff noticed my wife was pregnant the let us know that the room we booked did not have a private bathroom, which i would have know if I had read the room booking correctly instead of glancing over it, and offered to upgrade us to a room with an en-suite, which my wife definitely needed. The beds where so comfortable that we had the best sleep we have had all week, we fully considered asking where they got the mattress just so we could get one for home. the food and the services was amazing, the food is definitely top notch and is rather well priced

I'd alerted reception to my very late arrival and was assured this was fine. While travelling to arrive, the lady on reception rang me to check all was okay. On arrival and in conversation, she offered some really valuable and money saving information regarding the trains from Wagga.

Staff were very friendly and helpful; room was clean, and the bathroom was very spacious and clean. Quiet location even though the bar was down stairs, the complimentary vouchers were a bonus and muchly appreciated. Lovely enviroment and nice rooms

More milk for tea and coffee

It was ideally located and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the room though spartan and aged sufficed. Not a fan of shared bathrooms however it was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water.

Great pub with great facilities. Gaming room is where it should be. Unobtrusive and not in your face. Great meal options and backed up on the plate. I liked the different areas of the pub catered for verying tastes. The corporates seemed to love the privacy of the restaurant, the name escapes me. The bar, the laneway are all good for catering to peoples needs.

The accommodation is fair. As I understand it, the new owners are renovating the rooms within budget. Each floor needs new bathrooms and toilet facilities. Toilets are tiny and showers are beyond their years. I am looking forward to seeing the pub again when its returning to it former glory. The accommodation is an important part of the successful future of this pub. Don't rely on gaming to make your pub a destination.
