Clean spacious rooms we had a spa suite on the ground level and I’d definitely book this room again being close to the pool ! Pool was nice but very cool ! Pool bar wasn’t open but could order drinks and food from inside the restaurant. Breakfast was ok ! A little pricey for $30 but if your an accor member you get 50 percent off which makes it affordable ! Buffet breakfast with the usual selection ! It’s a good base for staying in Darwin the airport shuttle is a bonus although your walking distance from airport to hotel it’s good to have the shuttle option ! We hired a car and everything is 10-15 mins drive !

The beds and sheets blankets. I slept well. Really close to the airport too.

My father was annoyed with the male staff who showed us the directions towards the room because we had big luggage and we were directed towards stairs instead of the ramp so we had to carry the luggage a bit instead of just push them. Also, female staff at reception did not have bags for us to carry bottles of water we bought so my mother and I carried 6 big bottles of water by hand, the walk was a struggle and the water was too cold and kinda hurt the skin on my arm. Aside from that, no issues.

I absolutely loved the villa with the pool. What a beautiful room and I enjoyed having my own private lap pool.

The only thing I can say negative is that everything is a little bit far away if you’re staying at the Villas which is at the back of the property it is quite a walk to the bar and restaurant but other than that the resort is beautiful. Also, you can actually get concierge to take you to your room on a buggy which leaves at reception which I found quite handy and used quite a bit to take me back and forth from the restaurant to my pool villa.

We were upgraded to a bigger room at their partner hotel (which is across the road), as our room was undergoing some issues. We utilised the wonderful pool and restaurant space at this hotel and it was definitely the highlight of our stay. Very close walking distance to the airport

No other options of restaurants etc. around if u don’t have a car/ or use taxi/Uber etc. but that’s just the nature of the city- not really a reflection of the property.

We stayed in a bungalow with our own pool and it was lovely. Spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed. It is a strange place to stay, ie its at the airport, but we never heard a plane and its really close (by car) to Nightcliffe and Rapid Creek. Its also very close to other local beaches which are far better than the city centre. The general pool is also a highlight and far better than those of the city hotels.

Checkin was easy & welcoming. Parking was just nearby to our room. The room was clean and on the ground floor. Housekeeping provided us with clean towels. Close to the northern suburbs to be close to family.

The security lights outside on all night was too bright, there were lights outside each room that could have been used. Guests departing rooms early in the morning were loud & banging the doors. Buffet breakfast wasn't that great, just scrambled eggs & omelette, no other option especially for $30 per person and the drinks were not chilled.

My cousin from the NT, a regular customer and member, and I were upgraded to a family suite with sofa as we were concerned about getting a good night's sleep and our previous rooms on other visits were a little too noisy. Understandably though as fellow travellers are catchingand arriving on flights at different hours if the day. Here, I would like to suggest that doors are made good to avoid slambing and noise in walkways. On our latest stay we were greeted and assisted professionally by a friendly staff member Daisy who understood our needs. She was amazing! We ate at the restaurant. Enjoyed dinner and wine there. Had a lively evening swim and relaxed in our room on the final night of my wonderful NT journey. This will be the way I plan to end my next trip.

On this visit... nothing!

Everything the room was perfect loved the pool more then anything. I am already planning my next stay. I do wish the tv had some better channels or an upgrade with Stan it Netflix available. May be asking to much but the cost of the room it just seems these rooms at least have this option. Definitely not complaining again the pool has me sold forever.

Whoops the tv winge goes here. So yeah just didn't like relaxing in that huge bed and tv sucked. And more cold water available on arrival

The Mercure was within walking distance to Airport, which was great for our last day, however definitely need a car to access Darwin sights. The room was very spacious with plenty of light. The spa was lovely, as was the double shower. The amenities i.e. pool and outdoor dining were great too.

We stayed for 3 nights, and noticed a little mould in the shower grouting, and the fans were grubby. As was the verandah ceiling. These were minor details in the grand scheme of our stay. It was mainly that we were paying for 4.5 star accommodation that we expected cleanliness to be closer to perfect.

We were able to access our rooms before check in time which was a huge bonus. Reception staff were great. We loved the pool area, especially the gradual entry...was great for small kids. Cocktails and drinks were reasonably priced. Poolside bar service was great, however, would have been nice to have waiters come to us. Our meal in the restaurant was value for money. The menu provided sufficient options. Rooms were a good size. Having access to the gym at the Novotel was a bonus. Being close to the RAAF base meant we were randomly given free air shows by the jets, which we all enjoyed!

Our room was 'basic'. Balcony area was a little disappointing. We were allocated a 'disable' room which meant shower curtain, not screen. No toilet seat. Our room was close to the cleaners' supply room, and this meant early morning noises. Slamming of room doors also meant a disturbed night ( not the fault of the hotel ) Maybe a room on the upper level may have been better, but because we had small children ( porta-cots and prams ) we opted for ground level rooms.
