Staff were excellent, and the receptionist Dolly was attentive to the needs of all guests staying at the resort. The pool was awesome, and the room was perfect for our use. Affordable drinks and tasty meals could be found at the pub nearby. The restaurant on site was great for a sit-in dinner or a takeaway meal.

There's not much of a view to look at. Walking to Darwin town centre was easy enough but takes time, and the heat can make it exhausting. No public transport bus stops nearby.

Love how spacious the apartments are and how friendly the staff were. The Lady at reception was extremely beautiful and welcoming. The staff on hand was amazing, kind and always smiling. My children couldn't get enough of the pool so that was a bonus, and the extra toiletries and towels was a plus. And beds were so comfortable, even the pillows were fluffy. AMAZING!!! Thank you Alatia Holiday Apartments for making our stay a great getaway from home. We will definitely be back.

Everything went right,loverly facilities,great staff and very friendly the lot of them would recommend this facility ,to any one wishing to holiday and stay in Darwinwe were all most impressed staff and management went out of there way to look after us.

There was nothing we dislikedfacilities and staff were all excellant,if there is a minor inconvience a little far fro C,B,D. It great place.Excellant stay in supper facilities with amazing staff .

Easy walk to Mindil Beach and Botanical gardens. Over the road from a good bottle shop and pub meals. Nice swimming pool for relaxing.

Shorter walk to the bus stop into town. Still it wasn't too bad. Not really impressed with the begging in the streets or the language and attitudes of a certain section of the population travelling on the busses, some women I noticed were quite confronted. On the brighter side travel is free for seniors.

Was lovely spot, spent 6 nights and on a motorcycle so had great lock up undercover area. Studio was roomier then motel room, pool was lovely. Had washing machine, dryer and drying rack in room. Servo across the Rd and frontier hotel.

Can't complain about a thing really. We walked a lot which we don't mind, had public bus ticket (and free for seniors) no bus stop very close. Room a little tired but not bad at all.

What makes this property is the wonderful & helpful reception staff, Su, John & Dolly. The service of the rooms is excellent. Our bins were emptied daily and clean sheets and towels provided as required. Tea, coffee etc. topped up daily. It is in a convenient location. I liked I could walk to the Botanical Gardens. Parking is safe and convenient. It is more homely than the large apartment hotels and I like the layout with the nice pool in the centre. We have booked to come back in a couple of months!

The rooms are not modern but the value for money and everything else I have said above, makes up for this.

Maybe a little to far from CBD,and a distance from public transport,but if you had your own transport no worries.

FRIENDLY AND QUICK CHECK IN HAD ASKED FOR A GROUND FLOOR ROOM AND RECIEVED ONE THE AIR CON WAS ON IN THE ROOM WHICH WAS AN ADDED BONUS. ROOM WAS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN TOWELS AND SHEETS WERE GOOD QUALITY. POOL WAS CRSTAL CLEAR PUB WITH GOOD COUNTER MEALS AND TAKEAWAYS ALMOST ACROSS THE ROAD. CITY 10 MINUTE WALK GREAT FOR FAMILIES OR LONGER STAYS AS SELF CONTAINED UNITS

The apartments are well equipped, clean and comfortable. Access to the washing machine and dryer was handy. The pool area is also nice and clean and has good access to shade.

There are lots of signs everywhere advising you of things that are forbidden and a price list for any damage. Possibly symptomatic of the wider social problems in Darwin but isn't great for the vibe. Also annoying to be charged extra for a baby cot despite the fairly high price for the room as it is. Advise against ordering at the Nepalese restaurant (slow and tiny portions) or the cafe (very expensive for mediocre coffee and food) better off using Coles express or heading into town.

I stayed at the Alatai Holiday Apartments 19 years ago and so when the Accommodation came up on Booking.com and was available for the 9 days while we were in Darwin decided to book it again for this stay. The location is an easy walk into Darwin central, has a lovely pool for the afternoon post- tour swim before heading out to enjoy a delicious meal. We could have cooked in our apartment but decided to enjoy the wonderful selection of venues in Darwin. The apartment was very comfortable. We used the washing machine, relaxed on the couch late evening, appreciated the fans and air con and generally felt like it was a home away from home.
