The location of the hotel was perfect and it was in a quiet neighborhood which was great. The suite was beautiful, plenty of space and the bathroom was gorgeous and the bed perhaps one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in.

Just prior to arriving we were informed that both the restaurant and the roof top bar were both closed for refurbishment. When we booked the property we appreciated that it was small but that having a roof top bar would be great and the restaurant would provide a lovely option for dinner. We had invited friends who were staying at the hotel with us. Unfortunately, Spicer's did not provide enough notice to us to allow us to rebook in Brisbane. We had already started our holiday as well, this was really disappointing. We would likely have rebooked elsewhere had we been provided with more notice.

Ease of check in and check out was amazing. Dinner and drinks on the roof top was lovely. Friendly staff and very accommodating. The lady at the bar made the best drinks and we had a lovely visit from the bar possum!

Not enough space for suitcases. I arrived with three suitcases and two carry-ons it was a tight fit. Sink was blocked but my partner is a plumber so he unclogged the sink lol.

Eco friendly , staff are accommodating . Self checkin available for late night arrivals (very quick and easy!).

Staff desk staff available only until 11pm - I actually enjoyed the experience but this may not be suitable however for older people or people with disabilities . No information on how to connect to wifi. HOWEVER , you can call the hotel manager/staff 24/7. good to have local sim if you need to call before you get to your room. Otherwise , you can dial from your room

We really liked the style of the room and the comfort/amenities. Very comfy bed and great tea/coffee/personal care product selection to try. Location was great and we enjoyed having drinks at the rooftop bar. Reception staff were lovely!

We were on our honeymoon and this wasn’t mentioned til we left which is OK but a bit disappointing for this standard of hotel. Also we were given room 6 which I think after reading previous reviews we were unlucky - right opposite a restaurant toilet so a bit noisy. Given we booked well in advance and mentioned it was our honeymoon - this wasn’t ideal! Also there was empty plastic water bottles/rubbish from (we assumed) the previous guests in a cupboard above the fridge in the room -not the best but a forgivable mistake!

Modern but comfortable. A stylish home away from home. A lovely verandah restaurant with great food and wine list and a light inviting lounge area to sit and enjoy your time, but the knockout feature is the rooftop bar with fabulous views across the city and bridge. The rooms are modern with cool tonings, plenty of space. Lovely bathroom with beautiful body wash, shampoo & conditioner and plenty of towles gently warmed. the room has good shelving and wardrobe space and a wonderful selection of organic leaf teas or Nespresso. A lovely place to relax

Beautiful boutique hotel strategically located near the riverside walk

I stayed in a standard room at ground floor just below the restaurant and it got quite loud at night during dinner service (I came in the room at 11:30pm and everything was quiet) and in the morning from 7am. We could hear soft music played in the reception as well as personnel going back and forth in the hallway

Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Beautiful buildings and suite. Wonderful rooftop bar with view of the bridge. Close walk to the wharf. Wonderful restaurant

The shower was difficult to use the shower head as the wall connection didn’t hold the hand held shower head well. Would have liked some extra towels

We arrived after a long flight, a bit shattered and we had a great welcome, easy room access and were relaxing with a drink after 15 minutes.. 😊 we had a super breakfast the next morning before hitting the road North to Noosa.

Nothing .. just noisy birds for a wake up call!!!

Beautiful building and room was very nicely styled. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a drink in the restaurant upstairs and the music was far too loud, especially considering we were the only ones there (weekday afternoon). The volume was turned down on request however 👍

Fantastic location and feels like a home away from home. So close to James street for shopping and dining. Wonderful concierge staff that made us feel very welcome.

We only stayed for one night and thought it a little expensive but a lovely experience all the same.
