Flash place, friendly staff, perfect spot right in the heart of Southbank. For gym goers, it’s gym is actually decent for what it is, small with limited workout stations but far better than any other place i’ve stayed at. Spa right next to gym is also good. Concierge (Valet) staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Big thanks to those guys.

Valet parking $55 a night is excessive. Also take pictures of your car front to back before you hand over your keys. My vehicle received damage that i believe was never there prior to my stay, but since i cannot confirm that, i’ll take it on the chin and call it even. Other people staying are also quite judgmental if you don’t look like you can afford to stay there. Must be a city thing.

I celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at The Ridges Southbank, and it was a fantastic experience. The location and the view from our balcony were beyond amazing, surpassing our expectations. The hotel management made the occasion even more special by surprising my girlfriend with chocolates and a thoughtful birthday card. She absolutely loved her stay there. The Ridges Southbank provided top-notch service, making our celebration memorable. If you're looking for a place with breathtaking views and exceptional hospitality, this is the place to go. It truly added an extra layer of joy to our special day.

We had a standard room and were impressed by the comfort and amount of space. The lighting and air conditioning were excellent and there were plenty of convenient power points and charging points. The CBD cafe and room service are reasonably priced for a big city hotel and there many options for eating out in the immediate vicinity. The option of 'going green' and not having daily housekeeping service in return for a food/drink voucher was a nice touch.

Our TV was faulty, but was attended to promptly - until the whole TV system in the hotel failed!

I love how clean and professional it is

I just think things on the websites need tk be added. Example, when I arrived, I had no idea where to park my car and I was told ‘oh that’s okay we will take your car to the carpark’. Not once was I told about a fee for valet parking. I’d really rather pay much cheaper to park it myself. Also please update that a security bond is required. I am now aware Rydges is clearly for people who are a bit better with money then I am, but this trip was a very tight one for me this time around and there were a few unexpected things that I would of liked to have known before arriving.

Location was fantastic, buffet breaky was delcious and great variety, amazing hot shower, spa and sauna was relaxing, very comfy beds and loved having a balcony

For the price I paid and for standard hygiene, I would expect that all guests in the buffet would maintain a standard of personal hygiene and clothing, so that guests aren't subjected to bad odours and dirty bare feet in the dining room where I am eating my breakfast.

The location was absolutely amazing Close to Woolworths to the ferry city cat we went to qpac to watch the ballet dinner at one of many restaurants so many things to do and see. We will be back to explore Brisbane cbd walking distance the paid city cat art gallery and another show at qpcac. We love the location it's cheaper than the cbd and hope it remains that way. We stayed in the cbd previously at other hotels and didn't provide the atmosphere and value for money. Everything was over priced and we won't be back. We loved the room we were given.

We left a blazer in the wardrobe it was expensive no one contacted us to let us know we forgot it there.

Great location. Perfect if visiting Southbank, QPAC, Brisbane convention and exhibition centre, museum and art galleries. Also a short walk to the CBD. Room was large with a balcony view towards Southbank. Everything was clean and staff were very friendly. Parking is an extra $55 on top of room cost, however it is valet parking and they allow you to keep your car there even after checking out if you want to explore some more. Parking in Brisbane is expensive anywhere you go so I didn’t mind paying the extra to park the car there. Parking is charged at checkout.

Loved the hotel, nice and clean and well presented and the staff were great during our stay. Location is great, 1-2 minutes walk from QPAC and Southbank. Would definitely choose this hotel again at the same price.

Pricy parking at $55 PD. My car was parked at an offsite car park and I was not informed of this. I only know because we saw the driver driving from the main streets in my car. Swimming pool is tiny for the amount of rooms in the hotel. Key cards were a bit temperamental in the lifts and had to get them re-cut. Only a few niggling problems but overall a great stay!

This is an excellent location right in the middle of South Bank with easy access to the train line, museums and theatre and plenty of food options nearby. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet even being on a busy street and I appreciated the power points next to both sides of the bed.

Some very minor things but our towels had stains, the soap holder was very cracked, and the toilet seat was loose. When you are paying this much for a room these types of maintenance things are a bit disappointing but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

Location was perfect for attending the event at the convention centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful at the venue, especially at the Concierge desk. The room was large and roomy but seating was a bit limited. Loved having some kitchen facilities. Very quiet considering the number of people staying on our floor.

The price was very high considering the standard of the towels, no robes or slippers provided. Bar fridge probably needed maintenance. No information provided on where hotel restaurants and facilities could be found.
