Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, offering easy access to The Valley, Southbank, the City Centre, beautiful parks, pubs and restaurants and of course, the view of the Story Bridge was just amazing. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff truly made our experience exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, always friendly, and catered for every request. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.

The greeting by reception staff was so welcoming. The gentleman was the most courteous informative friendly and professional person we have ever encountered in our Australian travels. We were guided to our room, which was lit and air-conditioned, ready for our arrival. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel. Clean comfortable and well-appointed rooms and facilities. Very friendly staff and great service. We will return when we next stay in Brisbane. Great location as well. Even our checkout was a pleasant experience.

It all began at Reception when I was greeted by a lovely man. It has been many years since I have received such a welcome. The gentleman could certainly teach the current generations and large hotels how to treat guests. I would go back to II Mondo rather than the city and use the city cats or walk bridge once completed to go into Brisbane. The surroundings were beautiful and inviting. Coffee shops, hotel-it is all within walking distance. The rooms were exceptional. Spotless and the decor and other were thoughtful and appropriate. A wonderful place and I would highly recommend choosing II Mondo for your next stay.

I loved every aspect of our accommodation and stay.

From the moment we parked in secure free parking, and entered into the charming lobby I knew this was the best decision. The highest level of service from Chris and team. Greetings were warm and friendly, extra info presented with enthusiasm and smiles. The room was impeccably clean, room amenities spot on with eco friendly toiletries, coffee,tea and water in room. Room was spacious and offered a lovely large balcony, we heard no noise from any other guest inside the hotel. Nice large walk in shower. Great Wi-Fi, outstanding location with restaurants and ferry close by. I highly recommend this superior accommodation. You will not be disappointed.

This was a return stay for us....we enjoyed our stay at the same time last year. This is the perfect location for a NYE celebration as a short walk provides a good view of the NYE fireworks and not too many competing crowds. We book 2 rooms on the same level so our visiting relatives can have their own room over the stay but we can also easily enjoy each others' company. The cost to do this is far better than other city locations and yet nothing is below expected standards. Chris and his Staff are great hosts. As we were only staying two nights we had not really expected a change of linen over that period and yet we received a full service to our room while we were out. As one of our party was still asleep in his room staff thoughtfully left a basked of clean linen at his door. On a rainy day we had complimentary umbrellas when we walked to a nearby coffee shop. Restaurants and Cafes nearby are of excellent quality. We'll be back.

We would have liked a bar on the wall to assist with getting out of the bathtub. But this was minor. Water was hot and bath products were of good quality.

Il Mondo Boutique hotel is fantastic, it is in a great location, very central to the city but still far enough away that you don't get the noise from the city and Kangaroo Point is surrounded by a lot of nature and water which was calming and peaceful. The hotel was extremely clean and had great amenities and the rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

It was a small hotel with only a few rooms on each level. We didn't see or hear any other guests during our stay so it was super private. Check-in was easy, staff were accommodating and the rooms were spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our experience and would love to visit again.

There was very little that could be improved. We found the cost higher than anticipated mid-week. However, it was consistent with other properties in the area.

Great location, next to Story bridge. Can walk across to the city via the bridge in 10min or catch a ferry. Super clean and very comfortable bed with quality linen. Also, free parking for those who need it.

The aircon was an old school wall unit that was super noisy. I actually quite liked it as it was great white noise to fall asleep too and probably drowned out any noise from Story bridge cars and the pub across the road.

As always everything was spotless and clean. We did a stair access only room this time. The stairs were a little too much for me and I have learned my lesson. This was my mistake. The staff were just lovely as always. Will stay here again, clean, central, reasonably priced. Lovey place stay.

The Stair access room is considerably smaller, would be more suited to one person. Room was still great.
