The motel was near the river and though the parkland is quite dry at the moment, it was a lovely place to go for a walk. We were far enough away from the highway to have a quiet night's sleep, but close enough to not need to drive for hours to get back to our trip

The parking was a little unusual in that there was no allocated parking despite the parks being in front of rooms, and the low awnings in front of the rooms may have provided shade, but also prevented us (with gear on our roofracks) from parking in the space in front of our room. The manager was very helpful though, and moved his own vehicle onto the street to give us a park inside the complex.

The property is clean and well presented. Our room was clean, tidy and well presented- not to mention the shower was nice and hot and the bed was absolutely divine. There is free washing and drying services for guests. Undercover parking The on site restaurant does an amazing meal for a great price And the service is absolutely top notch, both the restaurant staff and the Managers are extremely polite and go the extra mile to help you. One of the best motels I have ever stayed at.

Absolutely nothing

The staff were friendly and we loved the location. Very close to town but also loved being walking distance to the river. In the room, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean, and loved the large shower head in the shower. The kitchenette had everything we needed for our stay.

The only thing we would say the room may have needed was a sink in the kitchenette as we had to get water from the bathroom for a cuppa or to wash any dishes, but that is a minor thing and being very picky.

First look everything looked clean but after being there awhile it could do with a thorough clean The shower had a bad leak onto the floor Hair-dryer & spare toilet roll were not in the bathroom cupboard where you would expect them to be The exterior needs repairs & painting

The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable and clean with a wall between the queen bed and single bed for privacy. It was also very quiet as it was on a side street away from the main road.

The premises on the whole were very tired and worn and needs a renovation, I.e. carpets, bathroom etc. The balcony was outside the room in the walkway. We had to use the car to reach the city centre.

Conveniently located close to the rail station and the city centre is a short walk away. Great Wi-Fi! Very convenient with automatic check-in, as our train arrived quite late at night.

The area around the drying lines was a bit unkempt and made me worried about dirtying our newly clean clothes if they happened to fly off the line.

Fabulous size room, including all the amenities we needed for our stay, check in was super easy using the kiosk after hours. The gentleman behind the desk was helpful when my suitcase was broken and helped me to fix it, also very handy being able to store luggage for the day after check out.

Location a little further away from life than expected but not a problem at all.

The room is very dated but the beds were comfortable. We had a room with the spa in it. Very old bathrooms with tiles missing cracked but it you overlook that it was all good. Great walking distance to Restaurants and Theatre.

Milk in fridge was 6 weeks out of date.....very noisy as lots of kids running and screaming up and down verandah. But that was just being there at the wrong time I guess

pleasant stay, quite roomy, the room was a bit tired but on the whole a great place to stay. Just a normal average motel room. I liked the table and chairs in the room.

I didn't like the random parking. I didn't like the soft shower wall, or the cloth shower curtain and water pressure. There were little mold spots that need attention.

Very comfortable room - we stayed in loads of motels across Australia, and this was one of the better ones. Friendly welcome from the owner, had a more personal touch than many places like this. WiFi worked well, and there was plenty of parking on site - a bit tight to manoeuvre as other reviewers have noted, but it was fine. Would stay here again.
