Watermark Resort Caloundra

the property was very clean, everything in the property was well organised and everything had its place. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. Close to shopping centres and restaurants. Close to the beach.

I can’t fault this property.

Beautiful absolute water view 24 hours a day and a balcony. Spacious living space and main bedroom. Ensuite in both bedrooms. All available appliances. Wonderful swimming pools and heated spa. Staff helpful and friendly.

Dishwasher powder became stuck in receptacle container. Dishwasher might needs maintenance check. Second bedroom does not have an air conditioner.

Absolutely gorgeous view, we looked out over the water. Great heated pool (and it's really heated not this 23 degree stuff that is still cold, it was lovely), spa hot. Very tidy gardens. So close to the main street, close to food, takeaways, newsagent & markets etc, and Aldi & Coles.

Only a one-way street, and a bit tricky to get into the entrance with people reversing out the wrong way. We had Unit 29, amazing view, but the owner above us in Unit 39 would make noise for 10 hrs straight the 2ish days they were there before we left. From noon till approx 11pm (thumping feet, dragging furniture, clip-clopping the full length of the unit from from to back FOR HOURS. DROVE US NUTS, would never have this unit again & would cost the owner of our unit money with people not wanting to ever be in this unit again :(

The location was ideal. Central to our needs including shops, supermarkets, the board walk, coffee shops & eateries. The view from our room was overlooking the pool area, across Pumistone Passage & across to Bribie Island. The staff were very warm and friendly, willing to assist with any queries or requests. The apartment was well appointed with everything that you would need. The apartment was clean with no evident maintenance required.

The car parking under the building was tight and it was evident that previous occupants had scraped their vehicles on the pillars whilst attempting to park their cars.

Every place I wanted to go to was not far away from the Resort. I loved the convenience of the room and its amenities ie Toaster, Microwave, Jug, washing basin for dishes etc. Reason - as prices are going up for food drink etc, it was great saving money, bringing your own breakfast, lunch food to accommodate these costs.

Maybe more access to parking your car, as I was out late one Friday night, and had to find a park on the road. Lucky there was 1 park across the road from resort, so wasn't too concerned.

The location of Watermark Caloundra was perfect for us being easy walking distance to the beach, nearby shops and restaurants. The superior 3 bedroom apartment we were allocated on the pool level was a comfortable size and suited us perfectly travelling as a family of 6 (4a, 2c). The apartment was well equipped for all our needs, one of the best we have stayed in.

It would have been good to see the pool rules enforced as during our stay the 8pm curfew was not always abided by other guests, causing some noise disturbance.

There was plenty of space for us for a few days and beautiful location. Loved it was walking distance to what we needed and wanted to do in town but still in a nice and quiet location. The staff on reception when we checked in were friendly and informative. The property was clean and well presented.

The TV was too small for the space, and when it was turned on or off the air-conditioning made a beeping noise. The dishwasher was a bit smelly.

Heated pool and spa were a plus since it was windy. The size of the apartment was also a plus, since we’re in 4 adults and one kid.

They didn’t get the previous payment in advance. They called me 3h before our check-in asking for the deposit and we had to pay the rest as soon as we checked in. I think they could have done only one transaction, to make things easier.

The location was fantastic and we boooked the most expensive room to get the waterfront and beautiful views. It was big and comfortable, modern and the roof top spa was lovely.

I felt that in these covid times, the light switches, tables and door handles could have been wiped down better (they had marks on them and usually I would wipe these down myself but I didn't this time). I actually picked up Covid from my three night stay and can't help but think it may have been from the hotel. Considering that we stayed in the low/off-peak season, the cost was very high.

Good location - handy to shops, cafes, etc. Nice outlook from verandah area and good pool area. Unit was clean when we arrived and had enough basics to get us started. Close to a great fish and chip place, and bottle shop (within 100m) ! And a good coffee shop just around the corner Reception staff were pleasant and efficient. All in all a good stay in a good location :-)

Ground floor unit was noisy (from pool area) - not unexpected of course ... it was school holidays and there are two building close together which tunnel the noise. I'm sure the upper floors toward the from would be quieter ... good to remember if booking again!
