This is our regular place to stay in Caloundra. Been here MANY times. It's LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Plus! IN the main street, excellent restaurants close, Seafood place, Supermarkets, RSL, and SHOPS! Walk to the beach, and to practically all the town. Last time we stayed construction work over the road was LOUD and dusty. This time it was fairly quiet, but the corner was a traffic nightmare with stop/go in progress. This was overcome by going out the other way.

For the first time we notice the rooms getting a bit "tired". We had a one bed apartment (always) and it had begun to look worn. Lights did not work, carpet needed replacement, and couches were quite worn. Fridge showing some age, though it worked fine! Our entry key played up with opening garage doors and entry. Reported this and lighting. Noted prices were still reasonable compared to others.

Had an "ocean view" room this time. Usually go for a "town view". Not much different, but noted the town view room was actually bigger at less cost. The Water view: This had some changes, as the channel is now chocked with sand. Walked to Bribie Island at low tide! Wow! Will there be a water view in future? LOCATION is superb, in main street, short walk to shopping centre, town centre, theatre, restaurants galore, and foreshore area. Parking is allocated, so you do not lose your own site if you go out.

Well, not the fault of OVR, but construction over the road made for excess noise and spoilt the view. Would have opted for a "town view" IF we knew this was on. Not to worry! Water pressure: This seems can issue in most places we have stayed. I suspect this is "managed" by water restriction in the showers to reduce the costs, but really when you pay good money you DO expect a full shower at least!

I have stayed here before, I loved how close to was to the beach it was great distance for what I wanted, view was great and spa. Comfy bed and quality furniture in lounge area and balcony. Pool was beautiful. Easy to locate things around the unit level. Roof top bbq area was lovely.

However, I didn't like that I was only given a small bottle of soap for bathing, it was not enough especially for 2 people and having a spa bath staying for a couple of days, luckily I brought my own bubble bath. There was a fee for alot of things including, toilet paper, soap and beach towels, so had to be aware of usage the entire time. A few dirty marks in the bathroom and kitchen (although I didn't use the kitchen) it was across from the bed so would have been nice to see no grease marks.

This is an ideally located apartment with easy off-street parking available. From here to can walk to everything needed while staying in Caloundra. Shopping and great cafes/restaurants within an easy walk. The apartment was spacious and clean and well maintained. Everything necessary for a longer stay as well.

Only three niggly things for us: 1. The room was close to ground level and would have been nicer if more elevated for the view. We suggest you request this if possible. 2. The bathroom was a little tired (clean but showing its age). It was also poorly laid out with the swinging door getting in the way of anything you wanted to do. A sliding door would solve this and make it a more useful bathroom. 3. The pool is on the second floor surrounded by concrete walls. Great for containing the kids but not the best aspect. Thankfully the river/beaches are a short stroll away and beautiful.

The room was lovely, and staff were able to accommodate request to have studio rooms close (we were staying with mother), and for walk in shower for mum which is safer. Lovely clean room and ample toiletries and tea coffee provided for an overnight stay, if you need more, recommend pack own. The staff at check in was super friendly, although we did not use the pool spa and BBQ facilities, it looked amazing, next time for a longer stay. Will definitely be back. Very close to the main strip of cafes/restaurants and a 5-10min stroll to the Events Center if you are staying in town for a show. All facilities nice and clean.

View of the water was good from 5th floor. Unit was very welcoming & spotlessly clean & fresh on entry, thank you Sarah. Pool, spa & sauna excellent, entire area had just been geurnied clean. Lifts were fast arriving. The rooftop was amazing 🤩

Construction & a very busy intersection out front was extremely noisy when out on balcony. There was often the smell of cigarette smoke from adjoining balconies so we could not spend time out there at all as it was complete unpleasant ☹️

I didn't expect to like this hotel but I did. Does what is says on the tin. Our unit has a ocean views from our balcony. Its a 5-minute walk to Bulcock Beach, but my favourite bits are their swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna which I tend to use after a warm day on the beach.

Little things: - Flat screen TV might've been from an earlier era. This could use an upgrade, preferably one with plenty of HDMI ports. - Revise "Coffee/tea making facilities" description to "water kettle for making instant coffee". I was probably expecting a Nespresso compatible machine of some sort. Lucky there's a French bistro nearby where I get my coffee from every morning which is a good excuse to get out of bed earlier than usual.

clear text communication, easy to find location, close walking proximity to beach and restaurants, the room number and carpark was the same, dedicated car space, octopus towel Oskar welcoming, spacious bathroom and storage, presentation of bed and comfortable mattress with two pillow choices, quality linen, balcony with view to ocean, blockout curtains, soundproofing of doors, clean and tidy, reception staff welcoming, cleaner on level 6 at 7am on 6th floor helpful with the rooftop access, all necessities provided (tea, bar fridge, toiletries)

minor- the kettle seemed to boil and not turn off, shower pressure on the low side

The self catering apartment was well equipped . Staff were great on our arrival. Great location for the main shopping precinct and coffee shops. Also a pleasant stroll to the ice cream shop! The apartment was spacious and the views of the beach were spectacular. Swam in the lovely pool each day and enjoyed use of the roof top bbq area . Such a beautiful spot to have a romantic dinner and watch the cruise ships go by!

Excellent accommodation along the main street of Caloundra. Very welcoming staff at reception. Well presented and clean studio unit, has everything you need, great for a short term stay. Unit was quite a bit larger than what I was expecting, which is a bonus. Comfy bed, and big screen smart TV. Huge bathroom, with full size bathtub/shower. Kitchen has everything you need to cook up a meal, with a full size fridge. Walking distance to pretty much anything in Caloundra, waterfront is just the next street over.
