Hard to find reception Staff were rather unhelpful Code sent to open gate didn’t work Went to wrong building, had to go back to car park only to be told they had an apartment in the building we were in. Shelf in bathroom was almost hanging off the wall

Situated in a beautiful gated community, a very short walk to the marina, restaurants and Coles. The staff and Everyone we met were very friendly. The apartment was spacious, clean and perfect for our family of 6. The addition of AC, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were a huge benefit. We had free wifi and the tv had Netflix and YouTube which was great for the kids. Onsite parking was a great.
The lounge’s were a little hard. The pillows were thin, however putting two in the one pillow case helped fluff them up. It would have been nice to have a broom or vacume cleaner in the apartment so I could easily clean up after the kids.

We are a family of 6 people.. with 4 young children. There was only 1 bin bag for a 5 day stay. When Mrs. called the staff and complain, and asked if somebody can come to clean, staff said "there is a $55 call out fee". Mrs told them, why wasn't she informed about the cleaning fee earlier and she has yound children, staff replied with "I don't care if u have children" We didn't have a broom the apartment. Called and requested the broom, and a viper was delivered. Very rude guy on the reception. My friend came to visit me and I was unable to open the main entrance. Called the staff, followed their instruction, but still couldn't open the door. Main gate is about 1.5 Kms away. So you end up driving to the main gate, to open it.

The gated community was nice and convenient to facilities. Very quiet.
The management team. I had 2 appartments booked for almost two weeks. We had to ask for fresh towels after a week and a room clean and we were made to feel like it was an inconvenience. We took great care of the appartments. At one stage both the shower drains blocked and they accused us of blocking them with our hair (it wasn’t our hair, my husband is bald and I’m blonde). We were told the wrong parking bay (written down for us) which caused parking issues. Spoke to manager about it and she accused us of making a mistake that she made. On check out we were accused of not returning the room keys. Fortunately we’d filmed our key return as evidence. They withheld our deposit for 5 days.

I liked the location. It was a quiet area and good for families. The accommodation was spacious and the stay was decent.
Despite the photos the place is dated. Noticeable scuff marks on the wall especially as you go up the stairs. The stairs didn't look properly vacuumed and we found pet hair. Fortunately, none of my guests were allergic. Everything was quite basic but the photos are not exactly matched up to what the accommodation is. There were also dirty knives in the knife block. I think the cleaning definitely needed to be a lot more thorough.

Nice 3 bedroom unit. Clean
Very narrow roads in estate with lots of cars parked in the street made it difficult to drive to apartment . Our ambulance size van was too high for the underground parking so had to park a long way away and carry our bags back to apartment. As we were checking in after 430pm, we had emailed our credit card details and ID photos the day before our arrival as requested but no one in the office actually read the email. When we rang at 4 pm on the day to ask which apartment we were staying at on arrival the wrong details were sent. We finally got the right details which were confusing and Security had to let us in through the boom gate.

Location is fantastic we could walk to Coles, bottle shop and some other shops. There is a yummy Thai restaurant too ( House of Siam Restaurant ) near the Coles. Theam parks are not far and just 15 minutes drive to Harbour Town Outlet. Secure parking was thanks full too. This was a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment.
Just the internet connection was weak but it’s not accomodation’s problem it’s the areas. I was still fine about it I could send / receive emails and scrolling some social media.

Brilliant location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Quiet beautiful area in a gated community. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and spacious. Really good. A suggestion would be to have someone at the reception desk of the actual apartment block we were staying in, especially as you have to nominate a pick up time slot.
Obtaining the keys was stressful. Finding the pickup location (despite being supplied with the instructions and a map) were challenging (user inability lol). Then the car park numbering was in no particul numerical order (hand written on the parking signs). The numbers on the floor of each space would have been better to go by. On that note we had a nightmare of a start to our stay, our own fault, but it was worth it once we got inside the apartment. Loved it. (Just wish the straight backed couch was more comfy). Would definitely book the same place again now we know how to get to it. Would be great fo family or friend get togethers with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and laundry and great kitchen.

We booked three apartments for a week. Unfortunately cyclone Alfred appeared and we were advised by some government officials to leave after two days. The management could not have been more helpful and sympathetic to our situation. They refunded a part of the stay and were extremely helpful in sorting out the process with booking.com. The apartments we had were all very clean and spacious, the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Peninsula.

I booked a two bedroom unit, but there were actually three rooms - two with large queen or king size beds and one with two twins, which I didn't expect. Had a garage to park the car in which was great in the unit itself.
The light switches were confusing - no downstairs light to turn on for the stairway - only upstairs. The room was so big the TV was echoing and hard to hear - needed a rug or carpet to dampen the sound. Found it difficult to find as house numbers aren't consecutive. Instructions to access the gate were confusing and didn't say that I couldn't use the pin code before a certain time. Had to drive to the pool to use it, so didn't bother. Plus, the pool was only a cold-water pool - not heated.
