Location - walking distance to fab restaurants & cafes, beach for swim & walks and playground for kids. About 2km from surfer's was handy too for touristy stuff. We rented a car from the airport so had the opportunity to drive outta town. Xanadu isn't too far from other fun activities like Currumbin wildlife sanctuary, Tamborine Mountain and all the theme parks. View - we were on level 22 facing the ocean and had an amazing view of the sunrise over the horizon, we also enjoyed the city lights at night. It was lovely having a cuppa and watching people have fun on the beach too. Facilities - pools and games room, great size apartments all kitted out with everything you need including kitchen/laundry etc Staff - super friendly and very helpful. Quiet and friendly residents made our stay even nicer. Bang for buck for sure! Definitely recommend and would return for more family adventures

Shower drainage was terrible which ended up with a flooded floor if I washed my hair. We were naughty and didn't complain so didn't give staff a chance to get problem sorted. When I washed my hair I just turned water off in between rinses, problem solved!

Was an impressive unit with great views. We were on level 10. Good facilities, pool, spa, sauna and gym etc. Right near beach. Also was close to family event.

Only really really picky things. The toilet roll holder not placed well so knee touching when sitting. The roller blind cord in bedroom was too close to drawers so kept getting caught opening and closing drawers. Ice maker not working, but may have been off, as there was a switch inside fridge. But should just work. Would have been nice to have a pod coffee machine. But nice to have. Kitchen well equipped. This was unit 107, others may be different

Incredible views from our room, excellent room for the price and lovely quiet area. We were not disturbed by anyone or any noise issues. Our young kids lived in the indoor pool during our entire stay which was a life saver!

There was quite a lot of mould in the shower in the ensuite that came off on my hands. In the bottom on the door and in the shower door handle.

The location and view were awesome. All of the staff were amazing.

I thought that the bathrooms in our apartment were below par and really good do with a redo.

This place is 10/10! Friendly greeting from staff at check in and check out. Cleanliness was the best I have ever ever ever seen in the many places I've stayed at (top to bottom not a speck of dirt, dust, hair or bugs- and I really looked!!). So close to the beach that you can hear the ocean. HUGE apartments! Close to shops. Love all the little extras like the "welcome back cookies" (YUM) and the bottle of sanitiser/cleaning spray in the kitchen (even though everything was sparkling clean). Lifts were quick and nice smelling foyer areas. Free wifi. Can't fault this place and cant wait to return to see the grounds upgrade completed (minor disruption).

Going home. I wanted to stay foreverrrrrrr!

This place is nothing short of amazing - comfortable, tastefully decorated and well appointed - I like staying in luxury. Absolutely no complaints and did not feel at all let down by anything here! The short walk to the restaurant precinct with the lights in the trees was awesome. Close enough to the sights and sounds that are the Gold Coast! The grounds were outstanding, so many grassy areas with a lovely pool and bbq area! Great for families. The beach across the road was stunning and we had the most wonderful views of the water. A really wonderful experience.

The works that were happening to the driveway were annoying but at least they are making an effort to keep things updated and modern. Something that was not the fault of the accommodation was the constant jack hammering at a property up the road that was being built. This got on my last nerve.

Fabulous Location - quiet area but close to main attractions (5 mins drive to Surfers Paradise & 2 mins from SeaWorld), ocean view from all windows (from window saw Whales breaching), walk across road to beautiful beach. Spacious living areas and fully self- contained. Indoor pool great during winter. Lifts fast.

Renovations on the front entrance outside area at the moment HOWEVER this didn’t affect our stay at all in winter and is going to make the place even better. Could have had a coffee machine.

I stayed in a two bedroom apartment at Xanadu and it was fantastic. The apartment was very large with two generous bedrooms and a particularly large living area. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the furniture was relatively modern and stylish. It was spotlessly clean. Even the laundry room was large! The views were amazing and the apartment is so close to the beach and cafes at Tedder Avenue. The pools and games room are good too. I'd definitely stay here again.

Only downside was the poor wi-fi included with the apartment - too slow to be useful. You can upgrade to higher speed at a cost but I don't think you should pay extra for decent wi-fi.

Great location with an awesome view to both the ocean and the city. Walk distance to the beach, playgrounds, cafes, public transport and parks. The suite was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was quite inside, no noise from the city. Just ocean sound if windows open.

Not critical for us, but might be worth mentioning. The free Internet was sluggish. And you need to reconnect it every day. It's enough to check emails, messages or search for something. But definitely not for the video. And suite TV had YouTube Kids and Netflix but it wasn't connected. Not critical for us though. In the middle of our stay the hotel staff replaced the router. It improved the stability of the connection.

Incredible view, the apartment and bathroom were bigger than the photo's made it seem, and overall very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Large TV network assortment. I liked the assigned parking spot so you never have to ride around looking for a place to park.

The couch wasn't very comfortable. Definitely not a couch to lay down on. Also I know it's common in Australia to not have a coffee machine, but it would absolutely score some bonus points for international travelers if they stock the kitchen with one. (Like an aldi Kfee)
