Novotel Surfers Paradise

Great well spacious room. Nice big bed, Great location right in centre of surfers. Great selection of food at breakfast

Very busy and long line to check in. Breakfast food was great but very busy and crowded area. Not a very relaxing environment for breakfast

Reception staff was great. The concierge staff was very helpful. The room quite spacey. The maintenance staff was great in handling the problem. The room service facility was easy and quick. Bathroom amenities was great.

I didn't like that the hotel doesn't have their own carpark. We were there only for 2 nights but it will cost a lot of money if we stay for a week. I didn't like the hotel breakfast. The coffee machine is not a user friendly. The bed in the room need to replace because is very soft and sinking. The Tv in the room doesn't have its own netflix channel and mirroring you tube didn't work.

the location was excellent, directly above the Paradise shopping centre and 1 minutes from the beach. The view from our 34th floor ocean view room was incredible.

It was pretty noisy over the weekend, even so far up. There was no dining or coffee table to eat on in the room, had to drag in the knee-high balcony table to eat at. The TV's are free-to-air only. They are WIFI enabled, but have no apps available, so don't have access to streaming unless you connect your own device to hotel WIFI (daily charge) and use an app you have to pay for. HDMI ports on TV's also inactive, so couldn't just play from own device.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Whenever there was an issue they were happy to address it without a fuss to make sure you enjoyed your stay. Concierge were very welcoming and would address us by our names. Big shout out to Michael who always greeted us and made sure we were looked after from check in to check out There was a fridge in our room which I was not expecting as the room we booked did not say a fridge was available so this was a nice surprise and such a convenience when travelling with a very young child. Big plus is this hotel is in the heart of Surfers Paradise so you are central to everything. Bed was super comfortable and a cot was available as requested for our baby.

I can't really fault this place. I didn't come to surfers Paradise to sit in my room all day. Although it was a little run down and in need of an interior upgrade the place still clean. I would definitely stay here again as it was decent value for money plus central to everything.

Location, pool and spa facilities. Looking out from 28th floor could see other hotel pool facilities, none of which were in use. Novetel there was always someone using pool facilities as the polls is heated perfectly. It was my winter getaway so it was perfect. Would be even better if there was a sauna, as this is what I look for in accommodation.

Would great if they had a sauna, the lifts were slow at peak times but that is expected due to the amount of people staying there.

We loved everything about our room. It was on the 35th floor and especially that it was on the beach front. The first night out the the 3 nights we stayed, there were fabulous fireworks just outside our balcony. The second night, being a Friday, there was the Markets all along the waterfront. Wow we just couldn't ask for more. The third night we were at an Indian wedding which only took 10 minutes to drive to by car. Absolutely loved the room and the position 100 percent. Thank you.

The only slightly negative thing was the car park was shared by anyone shopping at Woolworths and sometimes it was a little harder to find a park close to the basement door of the Novotel. But not a great issue at all.

I liked everything about the Novotel. Staff were very good and polite. I was able to check in a little earlier than expected. This was appreciated as I had children with me. Unlimited supply of pool towels was the best thing. With shopping centre below and children's attractions sites within walking distance made this stay worthwhile. I didn't have to go far.

I wasn't able to locate a restroom, shower and changeroom at the pool area. Thought the lack of this was odd considering a few hotels that I have been too seem to have this features near their pools, even for in-house guests.

The atmosphere. The cleanliness of the apartment and the bathroom facilities were amazing. The location is also amazing, close enough to Cavil Ave yet far enough so you can't hear the noise and amazing view of the beach.

There wasn't any information in the room about room service or how to order. The TV channels were very limited, and the fridge wasn't keeping things cold. I would also recommend keeping a few household items in the apartment, such as knives, forks, spoons, plates, and a kettle.

I had a fantastic stay at the Novotel. I would like to thank all the staff who made my birthday really memorable. The room was awesome especially being on the 34th floor and the view was way better than on the lower levels. We had booked the Superior Ocean View Room and the views were outstanding. The Novotel's location is perfect, you have the shopping centre on the main level along with a lot of restaurants, the tram stop is only 100m to and from the hotel. in saying public transport is easily accessible. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of options to choose from. I would be back again! Thank you once again Novotel for making my 37th birthday very memorable.

Nothing to report here. Everything was exceptional. On a side note, maybe a kettle and some cups in the rooms would be beneficial to guests who'd like to make a cup of tea or coffee. that is the only negative I could find.
