The host was very helpful and friendly. We were travelling up from Brisbane and arrived early in the morning. We called ahead to ask if we could have an early check in and the owner was very accommodating. She arranged for us to have access by 12noon - we received a call at 11am to say our room would be ready by 11:30am! Absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond. The room was clean and tidy, plus the location was great - right opposite the beach. We were able to ride our bikes straight across to the esplanade and have a family ride along the beach out to the warf. Will definitely stay again!!

Clean and friendly staff Very well equipped kitchen. They thought of everything one would need even full size kitchen. Amazing bbq area in Complex with condiments and utensils and outdoor kitchen. We didn’t bring our pets but it has a few pet friendly rooms and the motel has huge enclosed outside pen if needed to keep them in there for a bit.

Only fault is it was noisy next to traffic. Next time will come when it’s not school holidays as esplanade was very busy this time so it wasn’t as relaxing on the balcony .

The room was really clean and even had cutlery plates and an electric fry pan for cooking. Nice big fridge and comfortable bed. It also has a great view.The staff are really great and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back next time we're up that way. This has got to be the best place we stayed in without exception and for a great price. No one would be disappointed with this place.

Nothing at all this place has everything good going for it.

Very clean. Had everything we needed - plates, cutlery, glassware. Small and functional. We needed five beds - received a room that had the main and a single in the main space, and a separate room with two singles with its own tv! Perfect for the teenagers to escape the rest of us.

I was surprised by how busy the road was for most of the night. The room is set back, but the noise was still a little too frequent to have the windows open.

❣Great location, walk to beach, restaurants, shops. Spacious Room & Comfy bed. Ocean views through the trees & balcony with cafe set for a lovely read & relax. Very airy & spacious room, great doors & windows & extremely clean. Kitchenette facilities were roomy & well equipped for most needs & light cooking. Big bench for luggage & other items. Lovely grounds with big grassy area to relax or play. (With a clothes line out the back!) Covered parking Roadside Motel, so expect light traffic noise if doors & windows are open, or shut them. We didnt need to close them & we'll happily come back! ❣

Everything! Could not fault this motel or staff. Clean, comfortable, spacious, tea/coffee with biscuits, cooking facilities, aircon, fan, tv, fridge, lounge, balcony with views of the beach opposite, esplanade walk….and Kirsty, the manager, even drove us with our luggage to a cafe we wanted to go to!! Above & beyond. Thank you!

Just needs a cafe a little closer to the motel but that was minor if you like to walk.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had quite a few additional utensils then expected, including BBQ utensils. There was plenty of off-street parking and enjoyable park and beach views from the balcony. The lovely receptionist was very accommodating and knowledgeable.

We only stayed one night and found everything to our liking. The only minor issue would be the noisy motorbikes passing during the afternoon and evening, but that settled during the night.

The room was very clean, spacious and right across the road from the beach. The bathroom was very well set out with clothes hooks, towel racks and a place to put our soap and shampoo while showering. The kitchen area was great with crockery, cutlery, cooking appliances and a decent sized refrigerator. I liked having a couch also in the room.

The road noise but that was to be expected given our location.

I LOVED.. that I didn't have to spend half an hour to figure out how to watch free TV!! We just switched the TV on, & it was already there.. unlike the last 3 places I've stayed at, that created a lot of stress on me.. to fix it.. when I'm already technologically challenged.. ;) lol

We had some trouble finding the unit.. I didn't (& apparently the other couple next to us too) understand the instructions of where the unit was (in relation to the main part of the hotel) very well sorry.. I had a lot on my mind at the time unfortunately, & couldn't remember exactly what was said. When we did find it (& wasn't sure), we kind of felt we were invading on someone else's property.. until we found the key lock box.

Directly across the road from the beach. A short walk down to the local precinct including bar and grill, coffee shop and the pier for a nice stroll. The room was very comfortable with a patio out front to enjoy the afternoon sun. Out back there was a grassed area for the kids and a bbq area (which we didnt get a chance to use). Staff were amazing to deal with and easy check in. Will definitely stay again
