Proximity to beach

The ceiling fan was remote-control operated and at times would randomly switch on/off and the light attached to the ceiling fan would do the same thing. We established that each of our surrounding rooms all had the same fan installed. Obviously our neighbours were using their remote to control their fan/light which would also activate our fan/light. Although we spent very little time at the room, the light and fan would turn on randomly throughout the night and early morning. Above the cupboard was very dusty and hadn’t been cleaned in a while and this was the same with the bathroom exhaust fan as lint was easily visible whilst in the shower.

Great facilities, beautiful pool and area around it, spa, lots of lounge areas and places to relax and enjoy the views. Really friendly, going solo met lots of people happy to chat or hang out, owners are great. Very clean rooms and other facilities, with everything cleaned regularly and the owners making sure everything is perfect. Beach and restaurants nearby are great, lots of selection if you want to explore.

Only stayed for one night and realised that you really get more if you stay a couple of nights, as it's a great place to spend the day knowing you don't have to leave. Book early, especially holidays and weekends.

Cleanliness of the room. Conveniently located Friendly office ladies and helpful. Towels replaced daily. A nice unexpected service. Nice surroundings and gardens are well maintained. Not over priced.

Stairs. Having osteoarthritis the stairs made it a bit difficult to get up and down. Not good air conditioning. Had to have the fan going the whole time. A couple of plates and a cutting knife and minimal cutlery and wine glasses would have been good to include in the rooms itinerary. Not much fun cutting water melon with your credit card and not having a plate for it to drip onto. No need to not offer basics even if it is a budget room. Small Microwave oven too could have fitted on the bench. We didn't need one but could have used it to heat up our pizza.

The budget room was above and beyond what I expected,great value for money and more than enough room for a couple of people, shower was hot with plenty of power, bed super comfortable, and no there's not a kitchenette but the bar fridge was more than big enough for my wine, kettle more than adequate for my coffee's and plenty of food options in walking distance. And of course accommodation is beach front. Had a very comfortable, very quite, very enjoyable two night stay. The staff were an absolute delight and made my stay very memorable. I will definitley be back.

Not much I didn't like to be honest. The bathroom maybe could use a little loving but for the price is was fine.

This hotel has a great bed, the room is large, comfortable 2 seater sofa and coffee table, the linen and towels are very nice, it is really clean, small bathroom with toilet and shower in one room, shower has great water pressure and was very clean, the vanity is in a separate room which also has the jug and coffee etc on another bench, the pool is very nice also extremely clean, plenty of outdoor seating and BBQ, across the road from the beach close to some very good eateries, easy to drive to the hotel, free parking and the staff are friendly, I stayed in what they call a budget room and I thought it was great, very little road noise even though I was close to the road, they also have other rooms like 2 and 3 bedrooms and spa rooms but I liked my room which sleeps 3 people and booked it to stay there again before I checked

There was nothing I didn't like

the staff were super friendly. Originally I was to be a late arrival - and the process was emailed to me and was easy to follow - however my plans changed and I arrived the next day. The keys were at reception for me. The room was easy to access and was perfect for me as I was in town for the triathlon. When I checked out I realised I had left my phone charger in the room and promptly notified reception. When I returned to get it, it was at reception and clearly labelled with my room number and the time it was collected. Very efficient!!

Beds were comfortable but the quilt sandwiched between 2 white sheets was too narrow for a queen size bed, and didn’t stay together very well either. I loved the townhouse with 3 bedrooms a comfortable couch and plenty of room for the 5 of us. I like to do home cooking so that was great to have the big kitchen and fridge with oven, grill and stovetop. Cleaning ladies were very polite and helpful and quick to come in and out to do their jobs. We always enjoy a walk down to the beach when we are here. I liked having a hair dryer ready to use on the bathroom wall.

No stove light on the range hood. The fan in the upstairs toilet hummed and didn’t sound like the fan was actually working. I put down a bathmat folded lengthwise at the entrance to the upstairs bathroom to prevent accidentally kicking the little step up to the tiles. I hurt my foot once and decided not to let that happen again. The carpet cleaner/sweeper was neat and worked very well, but I couldn’t figure out how to empty it.

Spacious room which was comfortable. Our room had kettle, mugs and spoons. It was close to the beach, 30min walk to woolworths and not far from cafe & restaurants. The receptionist at the motel was amazing. She went over and above to help us with various things. Always cheery and greeted you with a smile. Pool was nice and was hit by the sun!

Would be nice if there was plates and other cuterly as we used their bbq. It is on the road infront of the beach so you do hear the traffic - would be annoying for light sleepers.

We very much enjoyed the stay. Loved the tropical gardens around pool and throughout the complex, it gave privacy and a relaxed feel to it. We would definitely recommend it. The location was ideal for us, not so crowded and a stunning beach just across the road. Friendly staff topped it off and were very helpful. We will definitely come again.

The bathroom was disappointing, we had to keep the door shut or a strong mouldy smell permeated the main room. The spa bath had not been cleaned properly and was obviously broken and patched up. If I had young children I’d be accessing other facilities.

Aircon was stalled in the bathroom area so the main room was not cool enough. The room was rather dark. Because the room was facing outside corridor, we need to close the curtain for privacy, but there were only two little bedside lamps plus one fluorescent light on the ceiling for one big room. Although the room was visually clean, there were ants crawling on the table, think the motell needs to do pest control more often.
