Torquay Terrace Bed & Breakfast

Good size of room, enough space to live the luggage, supplied with wardrobe and very nice good quality of bathrobes. The bathroom is nice and equipped with good lights. Always the room is supplied with a rich continental breakfast including eggs as well. The room is equipped with egg cooker, kettle and toaster.You can also have breakfast in your room or in a nice kitchen equipped with everything. You can have also free good chocolates. Are tea, coffee ,milk, etc.in the room but you can also have very good natural coffee extra cost but cheaper than if you buy. The host is very attentive, kind and friendly. Really nice, peaceful place with births and sometimes even kangaroo. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

Jon was an excellent host. He really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Most importantly he is a great communicator and was very approachable. Breakfast was continental and was dilligently restocked each day for us (we travelled as 2 couples in seperate rooms). We chose to eat together in the main dining room, it was great with a selection of cereals, toast, yoghurt and eggs which were easily heated up in the egg cooker provided. All in all we were all happy with our stay, 3 thumbs up because 2 isn't enough.

A beautiful room with a balcony and sea views through the trees, a gorgeous large bathroom with a spa bath, the bed was very comfortable, nice sheets and pillows, good air conditioning. The room was really lovely and the host was very pleasant and accommodating.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing, it was do it yourself in the room, with only 2 sachets of coffee and definitely not enough milk for coffee for two. We weren't there for breakfast anyway, but if we'd wanted to use one of the little packets of cereal there wouldn't have been enough milk for that with coffee. There was also only one egg each with an egg cooker and bread for toast was in snap lock bags in the fridge. Also it was impossible to fill the jug with water for coffee under the tap in the sink in the bathroom without using a glass or cup to do it with. I only mention this to help, as our stay there was great, the room was really lovely!

We absolutely loved our stay! We had a beautiful room and loved the extra special touches like breakfast, all the information available, friendly greet etc. The whole property was clean, in a great location and excellent value for money. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

the Owner was amazing, breakfast was good and the rooms were cozy as the bed. it was clean and tidy. aircon working well - washing service for 7$. Slept really good - would defenetly stay again !

no elevator for rooms in 1st floor, rooms are a bit small - but that was totally okay for us!

Very friendly welcome from John, the owner. As it happens, there were no other guests the night we were there so did not feel constrained in that regard. Needs to be understood that this is a very nicely converted home. It is not a typical motel. Could imagine would be very good for a group of friends or family who might consider renting the total facility.

Was not a problem for us but the apartments are on the first floor. Need to climb stairs might be an issue. The room we had, while very clean and comfortable, was a little on the small side. The bathroom was excellent and the separate toilet a bonus.

Fantastic host, well resourced with brochures for eating and excursions

Nothing to do with host. Unseasonal weather and lots of closed restaurants due to Covid and staff shortages Excellent setting and would highly recommend to family and will consider if we come back to QLD

Back for a second visit and very, very happy. Walk to restaurants on the esplanade are 10-15 minutes or a short drive. It’s a lovely, quiet place. Breakfast on the balcony was a real treat (Brighton room).

Friendly, helpful owner John who went out of his way to make bookings for us with local services so it made our time spent in Harvey Bay very enjoyable. An exceptionally comfy bed and quiet place to stay. Easily stay there again👍
