Hervey Bay Motel

The bed was comfortable. Everything needed was available in the room. the staff went over and beyond helping me out when I had lost my charger for my phone. It was too cold for a swim but I would have if the weather had been warmer. The room was clean.

Being short the only thing was that I had trouble reaching a cupboard with the toaster and jug but the staff were only too happy to put it away for me and would have got them down too if I had asked them. It is not that I did not like the issue with the cupboard, I often have trouble with things that are a bit on the high side, even at home.

The property was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were perfect and beyond expectations. I would also like to mention the friendly staffs and welcoming vibe of the property. The pool area was quiet and clean. Would definitely recommend the motel and it will be my go to place at Hervey Bay from now 😊

We found 3-5 German cockroaches in spite of the room being very clean!! We’re on the ground floor. A better pest control would be great…

Great location within waking distance to shops, restaurants, pier and marina. Located opposite beach access - great for early morning or afternoon strolls. Room has great facilities including a fridge with separate freezer (an absolute treat), microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, bowls, cups cutlery, glasses iron, ironing board etc. Pool area has sun lounges and large shade umbrella over pool - fantastic chillout area. Although no dining available at motel great restaurant perks down the road (enquire at hotel for fantastic savings). Definitely recommend the seafood tasting plate 😉

Bathroom a little outdated but fully functional. Outside lights remain on all night - some light seeps through blockout curtains but not much.

Perfect for a couple of nights to go on a whale watching tour. Handy to have a fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle to be able to make my own breakfasts and snacks. Great location for tour pick ups as one of the last to be collected and first to drop off!

Blind above kitchen bench was so dusty that I was scared to move it much as it kept dropping dust down to the bench and food. Otherwise everything else was clean.

Internet and Foxtell access allowed us to watch the sport we enjoy. The position of the motel was excellent for us to be able to walk to the beach and through the well kept garden foreshore. The room was clean and well appointed.

The address was confusing at first as our GPS sent us to Booreen Point. Perhaps if the address included the corner of Margaret Street somewhere it would have helped us.

The room was very well cleaned. Rooms were soundproofed well. Hardly heard any noise from adjoining and upstairs rooms.

Unfortunately, when we went to cook pancakes we found that there was no eggflip/spatula. Would also be difficult if someone had wanted to cook eggs. We had to go without breakfast. We were dropped off and picked up so we were unable to dash out in the car to get anything. It was quite a bit of a walk to food places and the weather bad so we had to wait until we were picked up by a family member before we could get some food.

We were only there for one night, but this place would be fabulous for an extended stay. A large fridge, complimentary bottled water, biscuits, milk, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, large fluffy towels, a comfy bed, great position, large room etc., made this a great place to stay.

There were a few hoons on the esplanade, but nothing can be done about this.

This is place is the old fashioned Motor Inn style of motel (parking car in front of room) accompanied by great old fashion service. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Ours had a kitchenette with microwave, sink and full size fridge/freezer which was excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The motel is across the road from the beach with a jetty, lovely to take a stroll along or stroll along the path of the esplanade. It was within walking distance to the Bayside Hotel with great choice of meals, great gluten free options for those of us that need them. Highly recommend.

Maybe some salt and pepper sachets in room. Nothing else to fault.

The facilities are very clean. The bed is comfortable. Had a full size fridge which is so handy when one is travelling and has more than just water to put in the fridge. TV has cable channels which is great.

The car is in the sun all day. Even though there is an awning, the location for parking doesn’t provide shade. In the summer, this can be an issue when one has so much stuff in the car.

We were delayed and arrived late but called ahead so the key collection information was sent through without problem

Another couple of pillows as I a tall side sleeper so need more propping up
