Excellent clean spacious apartment. Plenty of dishes and the use of a dishwasher. Also washing machine and tumble dryer. Brilliant location within the complex on the ground floor and with patio doors onto the terrace a few steps from the pool. Excellent for our needs. Palm Cove is a lovely small resort with many restaurants and shops. We must mention the great coffee shop/ general store directly behind the Alamanda apartments. It has everything you could need, including fresh fruit and vegetables. We have nothing but praise for the lovely friendly staff and a special mention to Gabby in reception. She made a brilliant week even better. Many thanks.

Exceptional location! Absolute beachfront with wonderful views from beachfront apartments. Great layout in 4 bedroom beachfront. Three different pools to choose from. Basic amenities provided - laundry powder, dishwashing detergent and tablets, body wash, toilet paper and soap. Comfortable beds and large comfortable couch. Cots were clean and in good condition. Lots of pool towels. Reception staff super helpful. Absolutely loved our stay!

A porter to bring bags up stairs would’ve been great! Additional cleaning service (only one clean in 10 days) or a vacuum in room would’ve been helpful. But overall these things didn’t matter.

Location was about as good as it gets. Our beachfront apartment was close enough to the Palm Cove restaurant strip to feel part of the buzz of a tourist destination but far enough away to be quiet and feel surrounded by nature. The apartment was spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The views were gorgeous. The place was so relaxing and enjoyable that it was hard to drag ourselves away to go sightseeing.

No fly screens on the windows in the tropics? I guess you could just close the windows and use aircon but we wanted fresh air and the sound of the sea so we had to use insect repellent. The internal stairs within the apartment seemed an odd design choice, not sure why they didn’t make the apartment on one level.

Great family holiday venue. Pool was fantastic, apartments are spacious and well laid out and the kitchen in the apartment was well appointed. Lots of other families there with young kids (pre-schoolers, toddlers, babies) so we were in good company! Reception staff were very lovely.

The apartment had a few maintenance issues, nothing major but starting to show a bit of wear and tear (patchy paint, issues with the shower tap functionality, dishwasher was loose in the cavity, bath enamel wear etc). Beds are all very soft which isn't our preference but may suit others better.

It was a gorgeous resort on the beach. Nice and quiet location at the beginning of the esplanade. Staff were amazing. The beautiful young lady at the reception was soooo helpful and made our stay even better. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was upgraded from a 1 bedroom, that was a nice surprise. The apartment was gorgeous, bedrooms downstairs and kitchen upstairs. View of the beachfront, self contained with a full size fridge. Shower was great, pressure was ok but could have been better but not a major issue.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool view apartment which was 2-level, bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. The living area was really spacious with great aircon and a good sized balcony. There were plenty of amenities provided in kitchen like coffee pods, teas, as well laundry liquid etc The beachfront location is perfect and overall beautiful resort.

Maintenance fences near the rock pool and the adult pool are a bit ugly but assume they will be fixed up soon

Loved the size of the apartment, the kitchen was well-equipped, bed was very soft, and a gorgeous view through the palms of the beach below. Great to have two bathrooms and internal laundry facilities.

We were aware of the stairs beforehand and almost every accommodation at Palm Cove is stairs only …. but man….. that was a lot of stairs!!! Also, due to the damage to reception, the office is being run out of an apartment - may I recommend some laminated signs to help guests locate it since it is tucked away. Other than that, we could have stayed another week! If guests are sensitive to light at nighttime I highly recommend an eye mask as it’s quite bright through the blinds in the bedroom.

Everything was perfect. Room and facilities were great. We stayed in a beachfront suite and it was beautiful. Location was amazing. We had a hire car and parking is free and secure. Would absolutely stay again!

The bed was super super soft, which personally just I don’t love. We stayed for a week and our apartment was cleaned once, we didn’t actually know what to expect being an apartment.

Location on the beach is like paradise. The room was excellent - spacious and worth everything you can need - including a washing machine and dryer. The staff were so lovely. The parking was easy. And the proximity to Daintree and all its associated beauty was fabulous. Swimming in the ocean is in a guarded area - which is important because of the crocodile risk!

Fantastic location right on beachfront & great sized apartment with all facilities you could need. Lovely main living & balcony outlook over the refurbished pool & lush tropical outlook from bedrooms.

Nothing major - stairs to top floor apartment - got used to them after a couple of days. No poolside dining or drinks available & no room service either.
