Although we did not see or speak to anyone from reception upon arrival, during stay or when leaving, everything was arranged very well. It was absolute mutual trust. The apartment had everything we needed (and more: washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, including some washing powder!, Netflix!) for a couple of days. We stayed in a number of apartments during our stay in Australia, but this one was the most complete, albeit a bit out-of-date.

The room is well appointed and exceptionally clean. We stayed near the pool which turned out to be very handy as the man in the adjoining room decided to renovate and jackhammer tiles and kitchen cupboards off for two days during our stay. My husband is in the building industry and without fail every booking away is spoilt by someone inspired by the block during our "holiday".

The owner of the unit could have done the renovation when the room was not booked by desperately tired carpenters who needed a break.

Swimming pool was in beautiful natural surrounds. Loved my balcony with a rainforest feel. Lots of birds coming to land on trees surrounding the balcony.

Nothing really. It was everything I had hoped when I booked it. Because there were problems with my original incoming flight being cancelled, it would have been good to have had an after hours number on which to leave a message.

Couldn't get a better location, kitchen very convenient, having laundry facilities is a bonus and there is excellent undercover off street parking.

Charging for use of beach towels left a feeling of penny pinching. Unit was a little too dark and the bushes could be trimmed back a bit. The floor had not been swept properly as there was a lot of dust and crumbs left under and behind the sofa. Overall the unit looked a bit tired....maybe the lack of light or a fresh coat of paint? Thought I had booked with the accommodation direct and not through Booking.com Feel that when booking through an agent the standard of accommodation offered is not as good as dealing directly with the actual operators. Prefer not to deal with Booking.com.

Location was ideal for us. Convenient undercover parking. Beautiful secluded pool with plenty of shade. Friendly staff. Beach about 5 minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. And 2 min walk to the bus stop that takes you all the way to Cairns.

The beds were not very comfortable, but I guess any bed that is not your own is uncomfortable at first. The TV was small but who watches TV all day on holidays anyway 😄. Other than that it was nice for the price 👍

Quiet, peaceful .. beautiful lagoon style pool surrounded by palms and foliage .. just a gorgeous retreat ..

Nil dishwasher.. but not a big deal . AC was a bit loud in the bedroom .. but also not a big deal .. easy to get used too .. I loved the place . Would be great to have a smart tv to cast Netflix etc .

Great location very close to the beach but protected from the on shore breeze. Pool was a great size and configuration for the number of guests. Lovely mature foliage provided shade as well as sunny areas.

Loved staying in a smaller facility the trade off is the office was not always attended for quick answers -I would choose again anyway. The help offered when the office was attended was excellent. All staff were positive, welcoming and relaxed a perfect fit.

The hotel is right at the long nice beach but also has a swimming pool so you can choose howto spend your time. Nice hotel with a spacious room with a balcony. Quite area but near all amenities (shops, restaurants, bus station). Highly recommenced

The apartment was beautiful..spotless, had brand new facilities and was very nice and comfortable. There were washing facilities and a little bag of washing powder was also provided which was very thoughtful. I will definitely return again. The location was lovely as it was a very short walk from the shoreline and lovely and quiet, but close enough to access the cafes, restaurants etc. The pool was lovely and had all amenities including an outdoor BBQ and sunbathing area. We found this to be a beautiful and relaxing place to stay..

reduced hours of reception. We have never arrived at a hotel in business hours to not be greeted and shown to our room. When we arrived (at 2pm on a Tuesday) we just found an envelope with our name stuck to the reception window. we had very little interaction with reception, except we did ask for late checkout which couldn’t be accommodated neither could we store our suitcases due to the limited hours of reception.
