Friendly and helpful reception. Updated and comfortable room. Garage and pool were close-by. Pool was lovely and we almost had it to ourselves. Location is excellent - re restaurants, marina, beach, park. We only used our car for touring.

Bedroom/ Lounge areas are together. Table was on the balcony, but the weather suited us for sitting outside. Kitchen was small so more suited to take-away meals rather than cooking (but fine for breakfast and for preparing packed lunches). The street gets busy but by closing the balcony door we cut-down the noise from early morning traffic.

The location of the hotel is ideal - 5 minute walking distance from wharf and downtown area. The grounds are beautifully landscape including a wonderful pool area. My room was spacious with good size living/sleeping area and small kitchenette.

The shower is extremely small making for a tight fit - not even someone who was over 200 lbs could fit in it! The air conditioner is really loud but fortunately a ceiling fan sufficed for keeping room cool. Bed pillows are flat and not very comfortable; bed linens a little dated. You have to pay $3. to "rent" a pool towel which is slightly smaller than the bath towels available in room which seemed weird to me as every other hotel I have ever stayed at made this a complimentary offering. It would be really beneficial if the hotel provided an ice machine on the premises particularly since they have barbeque/dining area adjacent to pool.

The pool was amazing and the location of the resort made it easy to walk to the Main Street, beach and marina.

It would have been nice if we didn’t have to pay extra to get new towels etc. as this put us off getting clean towels during our stay.

The owners were friendly and welcoming on arrival and provided me with lots of information about the town and details I would need to get around. They couldn’t do enough through the stay whenever I had a question. I was travelling for work so they thoughtfully arranged accommodation on the quieter side of the hotel, away from the pool. The pool was actually beautiful - a little tropical oasis! There is a barbecue area and lots of places to relax in the shade with a book between dips.

Wifi was a little slow but it was fine for what I needed.

The pool was a nice design and was beautifully done. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were great and the location to everything in Port Douglas was excellent.

I'd give it an 8/10 for cleanliness, mainly mold in the shower.

The location of this property was excellent enabling easy accessibility to the main shopping strip, walking distance to a large variety of restaurants and eateries also the harbour and 4 mile beach. The layout of our accommodation and that of the whole property contributed to a relaxing holiday vibe. The tropical gardens surrounding the lagoon pool and bbq area with outdoor kitchen. The management from first enquiry to booking, follow up, cleanliness can not be faulted. Will certainly recommend to friends and look forward to returning in near future. Thankyou.

Struggling to find anything. Maybe another couple of towels, for hair or if showering more than once in the day.

The room was ground floor as requested and in close proximity to the pool. The pool was slightly heated which was lovely. The Resort is in a couple of minutes walk to the beach and also to the main street. Great location.

The King size bed was two singles pushed together and the mattresses were well used and due for replacement. You could not roll from one side to the other. A cuddle was not a happening thing!

The location was great, the pool was really nice, it was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. My daughter found the bed very comfortable. The owners were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Great they can book the activities on your behalf. The verandah was lovely.

I found the bed to be too soft! The room wasn’t cleaned while we were staying, I feel like this is the norm now but our bin was overflowing and the towels were in rough shape by the time we left. I have no doubt if we’d ask for a service on the room we would have got it though.

Pool was excellent. Location was very convenient to main part of town. Room was fairly good but pushing 2 single beds together made for an uncomfortable section of the bed. Parking was good.

There was only 1 serving of tea & coffee, & only one small lot of milk. You have to buy you own. Quite poor really. Also very little soap or shampooo so again had to buy own. Very inconvenient if staying more than a couple of days as you end with stuff you don’t need. Couch in bedroom was very uncomfortable.
