Best Western Cattle City Motor Inn

I stayed at the Cattle City Motor Inn after arriving from a trip pout in the bush. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and service of this motel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and had a nice view of the city. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel also has a pool and a restaurant next door which were great. The location is convenient and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a over night quality stay in Rocky. It was a great value for money and a pleasant experience. Thank you, Cattle City Motor Inn, for making my trip easier and more enjoyable!

I always stay at this hotel, as once I find a great place I stick with it, the management team are nothing short of exceptional, my wife and son and I dinned in the gorgeous and cosy little restaurant and enjoyed very generous and delicious meals, that were great value for money, the little built in restaurant is truly relaxing and comfortable, kind of like an old English pub, we stayed for drinks at the bar and really enjoyed the serene atmosphere that this little gem has to offer, trully great value, and the team, go above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay

Nothing, everything is as one would expect.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice, cooked well and presented nicely. Excellent lemon lime and bitters!

As is the case with most older motels it is starting to show its age, especially on the outside. They also still allow smoking outside of the rooms, but it ruins it for those of us who don't smoke. I personally cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke or dirty ashtrays, the smoke affects my breathing, and the smell is disgusting.

Reception was great, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has to be at the best price in Queensland. Unbelievable value for the meal provided. We did not get to use the pool but it did look very inviting.

I was fairly surprised of the standard of the room provided for the price. I really felt the price was well over what would be expected in comparison with other similar properties in the area. Drop the price by about 25-30% and that would be far more reasonable

Very clean and generous sized rooms. Plenty of parking. Bathroom a good size, modern and immaculately clean. Beds were comfy, fresh milk provided and there was a microwave and well-stocked mini bar in the room. The meals from the Blue Heeler restaurant on site were absolutely delicious, we had them through room service and they arrived quickly. My 6 year old son who is a fussy eater said his meal was 'amazing'. Staff were very accommodating. Location was good, Aldi right next door.

We could hear a bit of traffic noise from the highway, which didn't bother us but if this worries you ask for a room further to the back of the property.

The overall experience exceeded our expectations, from the start of checking in, liaising with the cleaners for extra towels, and departing. A fantastic experience, and an immaculate, comfortable 2-bedroom apartment!

Everything was spot on!

Very happy with our visit. Man in reception was extremely helpful and solved our trailer problem, room was nice, very clean, meal in restaurant was very good. A very enjoyable stay, will be visiting again sometime.

Freshly renovated bathroom, sparkling clean. Good Wifi. Easy parking. Room (quadruple/family room) itself was very small. Staff was very friendly.

No didn’t have breakfast liked how it had double blinds so you could have a good sleep with out daylight creeping in.

Couldn’t order a big breakfast was looking so forward to it

Peter and Kathy are great hosts. Very friendly. Rooms were really clean and we had a renovated bathroom with a lovely shower. Good pressure and hot. Room had a minibar which is rare these days!. Location ok. Close to an Aldi.
