Great hosts Carolyn kept in contact with us during horrendous journey from Mackay. Room was light and bright with large picture windows and patio door. Great size room with well equipped kitchen, large dining table and comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms were good size and for once plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Nice to have washer and dryer. On site parking is a bonus. Pool are is kept spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi which is at just nice temperature. Personal touches ie hand written notes and some sweets left on arrival and departure. Location is excellent with beach over the road and a 5 mknute stroll along the esplanade brings you into the centre. Wouldn't hesitate recommending these apartments.

Would have liked a bigger balcony area but not the end of the world.

I had received an email from Carolyn the day before our check in date, advising we could check in early at 10am which I appreciated and I scheduled my family’s arrival time soon after. I met Carolyn at the reception desk and she personally came to the car park and brought a trolley to the car and came with us in the lift to the unit. She was so friendly and helpful and when we entered the unit, she immediately advised our teenager of the internet password that was on the fridge. This personal service made us feel very welcome and our teenager suggested we stay here next time we come to Surfers.

There were ceiling fans in the bedrooms and aircon in the living area. We were quite comfortable being autumn but in summer, aircon in the bedrooms would be better. The showers had fixed shower heads but hand held shower would be preferable.

This was one of THE best places I have ever stayed anywhere in the world that I have visited. The location was fantastic! So close to everything and within walking distance. The facilities were great, the pool was so clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The unit we stayed in had absolutely everything we needed. It was clean, well looked after and just what we needed. Carolyn and Garry the property managers, what can I say. They were like family. They absolutely made our entire trip. Nothing was too much trouble, every request no matter how big or small was met. Their kindness, friendliness and family feel was so appreciated. I cannot recommend Surfers Chalet highly enough. We will not stay anywhere else when we come to surfers from now on. We’ve definitely found our home away from home. Thank you Carolyn and Garry for showing us such incredible hospitality. Can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely everything. Couldn’t fault our stay here. Highlights are the managers and the cleanliness. We were greeted at the door on arrival and taken up to our room. They were amazing at communicating through messages before our stay and were happy for me to get a parcel delivered before my arrival. The room was spotless and had a microwave and the basics. Location was right on the beach so could get up for sunrise and be down at the water in less than 5 minutes. The main area was around a 10-15 minute walk which was great as it meant we weren’t far from everything but it was nice and quiet. Had a lovely pool also!

Couldn’t fault the place!

The room was incredibly clean with a beautiful view over the ocean, however the highlight is Carolyn, I have never met a more accommodating and friendly host in my 10 years of travelling. She couldn't do enough for us, she remembered all of our names and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We were there for a wedding in Brisbane, it had been 5 years since that friendship group had the chance to meet and Carolyn seemed genuinely more excited about the event than we were! if I ever have an event within 200 miles of Surfer's Chalet I will be sure to stay there again! Thank you so much for making the weekend even more special than it would have been.

Rooms were big they were clean and tidy, location was great, walking distance to surfers Paradise and Cavil mall, Surf club directly opposite with good food and amazing views . Customer service was excellent, communication was excellent, I will definitely recommend and I will be coming back Thank you to Management , we travel for work and weekends regularly and your service from the first confirmation email to the time we departed was hard to beat

Very welcoming hosts, Carolyn was so friendly and helpful, we felt immediately at home. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. The kids loved the pool and being able to borrow the body boards. Location was perfect, just across the road from Surfer's beach. Restaurants and takeaways 2 - 5 minute walk away. Cavill Ave shopping and restaurants about 20 minutes walk along the path by the beach. Tram stop 5 minute walk.

I would have liked the spa to be available later than 8.30pm.

The location 10 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle. 1 minute to tram. Easy to get around. Pool, spa and sauna. The apartment is well equipped with new appliances, furnishings and big, beautiful bedrooms.

Shower screen in main bathroom was awkward - opened inwards, making it tricky to get your body around (I am heavier set, husband even struggled and he is fit).

I loved the staff. They were wonderful, and extremely accommodating; especially their willingness to book me in early after I'd expressed interest in it. For their hospitality alone I'd love to go back.

I think the location could have been better. However, it didn't help that there was construction happening nearby the same time I was there, and the fact that it was next to the beach honestly makes up for that anyway.

Carolyn was exceptionally amazing; communicated well in all queries and was super friendly and accommodating to us. Property was like 20 mins walk to the main area Surfer's Paradise. Room facilities were good. Everything was provided, microwave, mini fridge, cutlery etc. Bed was comfortable.

Noise around the property. Like people being awake till late, laughing and talking loud. Bathroom needs an uplift. No safe in the room.
