Location was amazing, bed was comfortable, room and facilities were very clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly

No lighting in pool area after dark even though pool is open till 9pm. Parking isn't reserved so one park for every room but ended up having to park on the street for one night as no parks available. They forgot to replace any towels or bath mats after cleaning my room one day. These were all little things that weren't really a hassle for me, would not stop me from staying again

Excellent location. As previous long term residents of Townsville, we knew the motel and area. Close to eateries of all types. Great to be opposite the sea, and have the Strand to walk if we wanted to. Clean and comfortable. Two comfortable chairs plus 2 tables and 3 chairs for eating/working. Great!

No accessible units meant I had a few problems with the bathroom. Would have liked a grab rail of some sort as I needed help to get out of the shower stall. A rail next to the toilet would also have been useful. Parking was very tight - we arrived back at around 9pm one night, and there was only one space available. Large 4WD vehicles immediately outside our unit were extremely noisy, but that was just fellow guests showing no consideration for others. Perhaps designate parking for 4WD vehicles on the side opposite the units and quieter vehicles outside the units.

Lovely big modern bedroom & bathroom. Comfortable bed, huge TV, fantastic shower, good self catering facilities in the room. Perfect location for exploring Townsville. Staff were very pleasant. We only stayed two nights but our room was cleaned and we were provided with fresh towels after our first night which we were pleasantly surprised at. We have spent two months travelling Australia and found that most places we stayed in aren’t servicing rooms daily at the moments (which I think could be due to staffing issues as a result of COVID-19), so it was a lovely surprise to return to a spotless room and fresh towels after a day of exploring.

The Staff were friendly, helpful, lovely people. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for the 3 nights stay. Great value for money, sense of security knowing there’s onsite parking. Loved the location, everything in walking distance, waterpark, pubs, restaurants, bottle’o, and supermarket very convenient. Highly recommended for your next stay on The Strand.

Room was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in! Bathroom was immaculate, kitchenette was clean and tidy as were the utensils and appliances. Air conditioning worked amazing! Beds were larger in size compared to other accommodations I've stayed in and very comfortable. Extra blankets and pillows in room. Room itself was spacious to comfortably fit 4 adults people. Bean bags were a hit. Location was perfect if planning on staying on the strand. Free off road parking was a definite plus! Staff were very helpful and informative, went above and beyond in my future booking. House keeping very polite.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The Staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was excellent with the beach and the Strand just across the road. It was an easy walk to cafes and restaurants. We had off street parking and the bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom.

Location was so wonderful, walk to coles in 2 mins, cafes, maccas, play ground, water park, pretty much everything is 2 min walk. Room is very practical & comfortable. Nice fresh decor. The complex & surrounds were nice and quiet by 9pm each night. Little pool was great for the kids with a srunning view to people (and ocean) watch. Easy parking close to your door. Will be our go to when we're back in town.

Nothing major really. Another breakfast bowl would be good (there were 2 but three people /beds). Reception is a little old looking but don't let you put that off as the lady is lovely & rooms fresh.

This is a budget motel with a budget price right on the Strand in the middle of lots of restaurants. It was clean, comfortable and had everything I expected to make the stay easy. The managing staff were welcoming and super helpful in arranging taxis daily for me. They also provided me with an umbrella when the heavens opened. The room was serviced daily, the bathroom had been updated, the bed was huge and the airconditioning worked.

Our hosts were great,friendly and happy to offer good advice and service Room was clean and comfortable, but the best feature was the quietness,offering a good quality undisturbed rest full sleep Right in the centre of two good pubs , good food and good atmosphere,with in walking distance. Tariffs were very reasonable for the location on the Strand

Nothing to complain about

This motel is in the most perfect location. There are many places to choose for eating and the strand is just over the road so you can take a walk and enjoy the scenery. It was a basic room but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing really stood out. We had a bit of trouble with the TV but eventually I was able to fix it.
