Close to the strand , supermarket and chemist. We could also walk to town even though there is a bus if you need it. We walked through Queens Park and on to Castle Rock. We would have used the pool if it wasn’t winter. They have a luggage storage facility which we used. The cleaner was helpful. Reception was manned by lovely staff who dealt with hot water problem as best they could. Well stocked kitchenette. Balcony with view to the sea. Had the best pizza at Tony’s, 5 mins away.

The apartment was in a great spot,a sea view and had everything and more we needed.Would be great for a longer stay,(as long as there was hot water!😉

There was a problem with the hot water while we were there and we had no hot water during our stay. Reception contacted us to say that we had a free room at The Madison Plaza if we wanted to go and stay there as they couldn't be sure that the problem would be remedied even tho they were doing their best to fix it. I think the fact that we decided to stay even without any hot water shows how much we liked and rated the apartment.

Organising a late check in was awful and could have been much simpler. I was asked to EMAIL the front and back of my visa and my drivers license. When I said I wouldn't do this (my god, after all the scams that go on..) I was told I had to do it so I could check in unless I went via this link. Multiple times I asked to be directed to the link and after maybe 2 stressful hours of emails and phone calls it turns out the email with the link was sent to the wrong address and there was no apology. All went smoothly after that however it really soured the experience. There needs to be some customer training as I read after all this that others have had similar bad experiences.

The Madison is located 50 metres off the Strand and all rooms appear to have ocean views. Our room which was a studio was very large. It consisted a queen bed which was comfortable, lounge, small dining table and chairs, kitchenette with good sized fridge, microwave and 2 burner hot plate. The bathroom was roomy and shower pressure very good. Our towels were changed daily. Our balcony had a great view. Most importantly the air conditioner worked a treat (thank goodness as the weather outside was so humid and oppressive). The staff were excellent.

We had a very spacious 2 bedroom appartment. It was clean and comfortable with lots of storage. Kitchen well equiped, good water pressure in the shower. Lovely ocean views and hotel was close to many restaurants that were open on a public holiday. Receptionist could not have been more helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

Very, very slow wifi. It was like dial-up speed. Router was in the living room and we couldn't connect from the bedroom. Bathroom gouting could use a bit of bleach.

Fantastic location. Secure undercover parking. In room kitchen facilities. Plenty of space. Nice view from the balcony. Clean and tidy. Very affordable for an apartment style room so close to The Strand and nearby restaurants.

We stayed in two different rooms within three weeks, and the mattresses and pillows in both rooms were quite uncomfortable. The mattresses sagged, and the pillows were flat and hard - well past their best (although sheets, etc, were good). Room aircon can not be set for personal preference - temp is preset. Not ideal, but it's not a deal breaker.

Great place to stay although way too pricey. Considering the property is dated, doesn't have a spa and is a 3 star type of apartment accommodation it should be much cheaper than it is. Nice view and good staff. Would definitely recommend 👍 Thanks!

I liked the apartment. Functional, spacious and comfortable. I didn't like the price we had to pay, especially as we had to stay an extra night and the price for the extra nights accommodation was considerably higher. Considering we'd already spent a small fortune staying with Madison Ocean Breeze Apartments we expected some loyalty and consistency regarding their pricing.

We had a great stay at MOBA, it was only for one night as our road trip cut a little short but this one night was awesome. The apartment was massive and the beds were the comfiest we experienced on the entire trip. Check in wasn't until 2pm but the receptionist working that day was more than happy to check us in early. The location is great and the view from our balcony was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again, thank you!

The only thing I will say is that the oven and some of the utensils were not very clean. Guests should be washing utensils properly before leaving but I think staff should also be checking on this. I also found an empty Pepsi can in one of the wardrobes, again, this should be checked over properly by staff. I would give a 10 if not for these things.

Spacious, clean, open unit. Plenty of space for a family. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had a late check in, and lights are cooling were both on which was very appreciated. Great location, close to beach, restaurants, shops.

There were no cutting boards, which was a little annoying. No welcome information booklet with need to know details. Minor things. However, We also had issues with the key fob, we were locked put of the room for over an hour otherwise we would have to pay for afterhours assistance and (according to the information) would then cost is $100. It's insane to charge a customer money for something that is the hotels fault. If this isn't the case, I would update the information sent to guests and in the elevator.

room was huge, good lay out, had everything we needed. it was well situated in the middle of the strand, so we could take the kids for walks and enjoy our morning run.

Beds where a bit ordinary, they were very soft almost life using just a foam mattress, it was I could sleep but not great. everything else was pretty good, car park was a bit confusing, was not sure if you were meant to park in a designated spot or not .
