Having been in the cleaning supply industry for over 30 yrs I suggest that attention be paid o your shower cubicles and have the grout replaced around the base of the shower asMould s growing in it which is a health hazard and does not give the impression of being clean to guests when entering the shower attention required behind toilet door dust on top of tile edges and on floor needed sweeping out. I when I booked the room I understood that it had a 2 seater settee in the room as both my wife and I have bad backs. I did not realise that it had no sofa till we entered the room and I mentioned this to the gentleman who came to fix the Tv but he never offered to change rooms

I loved this place, it was super comfortable and quite a large space - the double bed was quiet all night until the morning traffic and crowd started up, which is perfect. I had a great night sleep.

I know it’s expensive but the carpet could use replacing, it would elevate the room quality to perfect. Also I think the couch in the main room has had its run and it’s time to throw it out.

Receptionist, Jen, was friendly, helpful and professional. We had a ground floor room and everything we needed was supplied.

Minor things, a little grubby in the bathroom, shower screen floor rail was dirty, top of tiles in toilet covered in grime and drain in kitchen sink (plug hole) needed good scrub. Everything else was clean and tidy.

We had breakfast in their affiliated cafe. The staff were very friendly and our meals and drinks perfect. We were impressed that they offered a discount to motel guests (which we did not realise when we chose to eat there).

Nothing major but it took time to work out the lighting and electrics as we had to find and read the book. Perhaps front of house could have told us to put the key fob into the switch by the front door? Very minor thing though.

I will never book through Booking.com again. I always try to contact the property directly but for some reason I wasnot able to this time. However, I will not make that mistake again.

Booking.com and this assessment. Of course the place was good and clean. They are in business and if they expect to rema9n in business they had better keep up the standards,.

Located close to the local pub (who do an excellent parma on friday nights Lamb/Beef/Chicken) and two minutes walk from the Goolwa Centenary Hall where Kevin Bloody Wilson and Jenny Talia from Australia performed. Very Handy Location, Off Street Parking.

Fantastic location and hospitable host.

I would of liked a microwave.I was looking forward to warming my heat pack.In the end the room was very cosy.I think the motel is listed having a pool so disappointed when there wasn't one.We did extend our stay by another night.

Well priced, easy, hassle free, no fuss check in and out. Bed's were comfortable and room including bathroom clean. Good to have separate shower and bathroom. Jack's cafe out the front made an easy hot, delicious breakfast easily accessible and affordable

Location was right in middle of Goolwa easy walking to cafe's, pub and shops. Stayed for two nights travelled to victor for one day which was easy drive to there. New owners were great had trouble with shower let him know he went and fixed it while we were having breakfast in their cafe, great job no trouble after that, also staff and food in cafe were excellent . Hope all goes well for new owners give them a go you want be disappointed with the place, large rooms, comfy bed and like i said great location.

Excellent room that had been recently refurbished. Had reverse cycle AC that was not highlighted in their online website which was a bonus.

Our room location was next door to the laundry area so some noise coming through to the room but to be fair not after 19:00 hrs.
