I can't rate this BnB highly enough! The property exceeded my expections for a little country BnB. Very well kept and comfortable bedrooms and the owner was so incredibly helpful and generous with helping us navigate McLaren Vale while we had car troubles. Excellent breakfast supplied so we could enjoy a decent coffee and hot brekkie each morning and they even provided lactose free oat milk on request. We look forward to booking here again next time we're in McLaren Vale!

stayed for 3 nights, and got breakfast groceries for 6 nights... did not eat all... covered car park was great, quiet place. lots of storage places.

air con is a central air con, but operated within the owners flat, so could not set the temp. however, it was quite ok most of the day. no gas stove, just an electric pan, works ok. not a "real" kitchen to cook. bed, like most in Australia - was soft to medium mattress.

Great bnb .On our arrival was greeted by Pepe the border collie. Peter the owner lives on site and is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Location is perfect with some wineries in walking distance. Accommodation is clean and comfortable and the fridge is loaded with heaps of goodies to make an excellent breakfast . Our dog loved roaming on the deck and the vast bush yard ( property is on 2 acres)

Peter's Friends at McLaren Vale B&B place is such a family-friendly place and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. The location is good- it's in a quiet area of wineries so walking in the morning was very nice, and not far from beaches, main wineries and shopping places. The room set-up is not only functional but also stylish, actually those photos did not do it justice. We loved the variety of food Peter prepared in the fridge for our breakfast, found those electronic cooking gears handy for making a brekkie or even dinner, and enjoyed the comfy beds and great collection of books in the living room. The best part is sitting on the deck watching the beautifcal garden and playing with Peter's friendly dog Peppe. Peppe has brought so much fun to my 10-year old daughter. It's a lovely place and Peter is a wonderful host. We are thankful for his hospitality and will highly recommend his place to any friends who are travelling to SA!

we didn't have the breakfast because when I'm on holiday I like to not prepare meals and I like to support local businesses. The setting at Friends was lovely and not too far from town. Would happily recommend it to others.

No dislikes as we really only use it to relax at night and sleep

Friends at Mclaren Vale was a lovely place to stay for the weekend. Peter was a friendly, helpful host and his puppy Pepe was beautiful and very well behaved There was a great variety of breakfast provisions plus some cheese for a platter and a bottle of wine. The location was a perfect base for exploring mclaren vale wineries and walking distance from pizza tecca. It was quiet and sitting on the balcony, you could think you were in the middle of no where. We had friends come up the second night and Peter was happy to have them stay for a small additional fee. Definitely recommend this beautiful bnb!

Breakfast was superb.

Cooking facilities could be improved e.g. microwave dish; Small electric cook top. We don't usually BBQ as I am fish only and lots of vegies. A frittata made in the small electric frypan with some of the provisions was delicious though.

Absolutely loved the outdoor space provided for our dogs to run around and explore. The location to some of the best parts of the McLaren Vale a real treat. The accomodation was cosy comfortable and well equipped.

Every effort was made to make us feel comfortable , excellent supply of breakfast and nibbles. Heaters were on when we arrived so the place was nice and warm. Pepe the boarder collie was a super welcoming party
